I wish GoT aired earlier on SUN because our 1SG is a big fan so instead of being an ass and keeping us hours after we're done with patient care he'd let us out early so he could watch it. I know a lot of people are going to die, I'm just hoping I can see Jon Snow's ass one last time. #priorities

Atticus bought lunch the last couple days at school and it’s amazing not having to pack one. I hope he decides to do it every day.

Friday! I was up late doing my discussion post about financial fraud (snooze fest) and spent most of the day figuring out refi options. I am not meant to be a financial person, that is for sure. So I'm dragging today. My SM called and asked if we can host Easter dinner/egg hunt bc she's too stressed with listing their house, so game on the prove that we have done anything since the whole family was here at Xmas..busy weekend ahead. Where does one procure a ham besides honey baked ham? Oh and something got into my potted flowers and basically dug them up out of the pots! I assume squirrels, but wth. Not cool. I’ve bought spiral hams at the grocery store by Smithfield, Hormel, etc; they come with a mix for the glaze and instructions for heating. Very easy (just did one for book club). They’re about a third the price of HoneyBaked and always get good reviews from our guests. I've also made my own glaze...tons of recipes online. You could probably get a ready-made one from Whole Foods or Fresh Market, too, but honestly they’re super easy to DIY. |

Shoot tgrimes , I was hoping that H was doing well with his tubes and not having the EI's anymore, I'm sorry  and how frustrating to have to deal with insurance. Morning all.
We're kind of at a stand still for work because of the upcoming election, so I'm spending my time contacting universities to get info about a Commerce degree. I've got emails into two universities to see what the options are there for part time/online learning since I'm not quitting my job. Hopefully I get some answers so I can apply soon.

My boss is organizing a mandatory fun potluck. The first guy that said he's in is the one who takes up about 75% of the work fridge and often sits leftovers out on the counter in the break room for hours at a time--yes, that includes meat. Just sitting there--unrefrigerated. I'll bring a sack lunch.

I would love to have stuff like that at work mwhip. It wouldn’t go over well though. My friend at work told me yesterday that he’s never met an HR person that dislikes people as much as me. I was explaining Instacart and the best part is they leave my groceries on my porch so I never have to talk to them 🤷♀️ |

ETA: We had an annual chili cook-off at my first job out of college, but otherwise all company events had catered food. And we had a legit bar in our office stocked with beer/liquor, because we had catered happy hours every Thursday. No job I had after that ever stacked up, lol. |
