vino I dropped my car off at the dealership last night, so I have H's car. Hopefully they can get to yours before Wednesday...I'm anxiously awaiting what they say is causing mine to sound like a ticking bomb all the time. At least it should be covered under warranty.
xolastunicornxo That seems like a weird proposal, considering it wouldn't be a one time thing. Or at least in my mind, a one night stand is someone you don't plan on seeing again, where you would obviously see both of them again. Did you tell your H? Many years ago, one of my friends (the ones in the open marriage as well), told me her H wanted to sleep with me. I was totally against it, for multiple reasons. I've laughed about it now with her, especially since she doesn't remember the conversation at all. If you want me to delete any of that, let me know.

Nothing much here today, catching up from being out of the office Friday.

We did so much meal prep yesterday. It's worth it to make dinner easier during the week since we get home late, but damn.

Yesterday I made a big deal when H pooped on the potty. H is running naked to the pantry to get his M&M reward and I tell M that he pooped on the potty like a big boy. She turns to look at me and in a very sarcastic tone says, "I have 2 ears. I already know that."

Stifling back laughter, I told her it wasn't very nice to talk to me that way. She came over to give me a hug and said she was sorry. Then she looks up at me and says, "It was funny though, wasn't it?"

Cadence's appointment went well, but I'm spiraling on her xrays because her front teeth look huge. They said they were normal and that adult teeth are twice as big as baby teeth. It looks like when her top 2 teeth come in they will also push out the 2 baby teeth next to it. The next 2 on the bottom are also on their way up, but it looks like there will be a bit of time before that happens. Her bottom 2 are slightly crooked and I've already noticed that she smiles differently because of it. It makes me wonder if someone has already said something to her about it, like made fun of her or something.

That’s odd, @unicorn. Not her lifestyle — she can do what she wants, but to be propositioned is odd. Regardless of saying yes or no, I feel like it would be awkward to face them the next time you all hang out.

Hi lovelies.

I should be working but I’m busy corresponding with the dance studio about our stripper class. So excited for Denver!

X had a couple weeks off therapy, but he resumes tomorrow. I’m really happy with how he’s been doing lately. Thursday he’s home with us all day to see his neurodevelopmental pedi for the ADOS results. It doesn’t change anything either way as far as family life goes, but it will be nice to have that question laid to rest so we can keep moving forward with his IEP.

@klongoria mwhip cagoldi and everyone else: yes I told my husband. He laughed but was also like never in a million years. I think it doesn’t bother me too much, because I know we are on the same page. I’ve always thought/known that M was attracted to my husband, even back in college when he was my boyfriend. And I have no doubt that her husband would be down to get with me. But it’s just not going to EVER happen, lol. I don’t think it’ll be awkward when we see them because S and I are both willing to chalk it up to being a little honest when she was drunk.

kim22, it's a long one and I can't remember if I've posted it before, so here goes.

MH and I were dating long distance (3 hours) for years. He came to me most weekends and Sunday mornings we used to walk into town for breakfast. We always passed this house and MH always commented how much he loved it. One day he says "I'm going to ring the doorbell and tell them". I look at him like he has 87 heads as he marches up the front steps and follow him, mortified. He rings the doorbell and an elderly couple opens the door. They wind up inviting us into the foyer and let us look around the main floor briefly. MH says "if you're ever looking to sell, let us know" but we exchange no information.

Flash forward a few years, my BFF is house hunting. Her H is working and she asks me to tag along to help with her 2 small children. First house we pull into is that house. I text MH (not MH then) and say, "you'll never guess where I am!" He goes crazy, says we have to see it when he is next up (3 weeks from then). But we used to go to open houses all the time on weekends b/c we both love houses, so this doesn't seem odd at all.

He comes to visit and there happens to be an open house. We see it. It's in bad shape. Old. No updates. MH walks through it, we go in the backyard, and he says to me "we should make an offer." What? We were not living together, or even living in the same state at the time. I laugh it off. He heads home and calls me, says he's spoken with his mortgage people and he can take X out of his current townhouse for a down payment. Again, what???

So, Sunday we see the house, Sunday night he goes home and makes all these plans. Monday morning I contact a realtor and take my mom to see the house that night. Tuesday we put an offer in, we go back and forth for 2 days, Thursday it's accepted.

And we weren't even house hunting. Or planning to move in together. Or living in the same state.

I often say he moved here for the house, not for me. And I'm not sure I'm kidding...
