It’s gross and rainy here, so Charlie and I will come home after preschool drop off and I will try to thread out for donations.

Morning! Lots of little errands this morning. Made a banana bread with oats in stead of flour. It tastes like, well, banana overnight oats, I’m disappointed in myself, why did I not for-see this happening 😂. Swim class this afternoon. The weather is lovely, in seeing coffee on the terras in my future.

I make a psl chocolate pudding cake with oat flour and I guess the chocolate must overpower it because I don’t taste the oats. Maybe add chocolate chips next time? |

Does anybody have an Etsy artist that they like? I want to have a drawing/watercolor of our house done for MH’s birthday.
Just a search on Etsy is a bit overwhelming without a recommendation.

I make the oats flour from the oats. I put it in a coffee grinder to get it super fine. |

E just vomited all the milk and food. So good thing I already made a doctors for her cough and called out today. C was a super hero and cleaned it all up.

Morning.
I drove the car to the dealership Saturday because of the leaking oil, so we all packed into one car for the day, little bit of a change up in routine. They kids were all confused and wondering why we both did drop off. The appointment for the car isn’t until Wed am but hopefully they’ll get to it early.

Morning! Its supposed to be a beautiful day here. Almost 70 and sunny. But don’t worry, it won’t last long. In true MN fashion, we’re supposed to get 18+ inches of snow Wednesday to Thursday 😭
I just put in the kids notice at daycare this morning. I told one teacher last week and got very emotional about it. I blame the hormones.

Morning! I’m laying around and feeling like crap. I made it through the wedding with lots of meds and lots of alcohol and actually had a really good time... but my throat is killing me and my fever is back so I’m definitely paying for it! It was fun though.
PDQ so, one of the other bridesmaids is one of my “best friends” from college, and I love her but we sometimes have a strained relationship. And way she’s married to a guy that was also part of our college friend circle and so we are pretty close. Let’s call my friend M and her dh R. M and R also have an interesting relationship, one thing being that they have an understanding if either then slips up and has a one night stand or something, as long as there’s no emotion in it, they don’t tell each other and just KOKO. Which is fine. To each there own. Well, last night after a few drinks M asked me what I thought about switching husbands for the night😬. I laughed it off as a joke but later she pulled me into the bathroom and told me she was totally serious if I wanted to and that R would be into it. Ummm.... hard no. She was drunk and I’m going to pretend like she was just joking... but I don’t think she was.

xolastunicornxo, that's a lot. I also think no judgement if people are into that, great for them. But introducing that into a friend group is a super quick way to get serious drama! How awkward would it be the next time you all saw each other!! slenle I don't recall if there was an update, did your boss ever give you his offer to stay on a bit longer? Also, when are you due again?

Morning! It’s a glorious day. It’s supposed to get up to 70 which is amazing. Like slenle though, we are supposed to snow wed-thurs. I think I’m going to take the girls to the zoo this afternoon. |

slenle I don't recall if there was an update, did your boss ever give you his offer to stay on a bit longer? Also, when are you due again? Well, he left me a voicemail last week to see if I had “answers to his questions” but he had never given me a real offer. When I called him back, he didn’t bring it up, which is fine by me. I think he probably realized after he said it, that it’s not going to be busy enough to keep me on. So, I’m done at the end of the month! And due 10/6, 14 weeks yesterday. |

The boys had a super busy weekend.
Saturday I heard about a STEAM fair at a local elementary school, it was AMAZING. Each room had a different theme (ie build a rocket, spin art, jewelry making, etc) and there were about 25 rooms. S could have stayed there all day, but B was melting so we had to leave.
Sunday B had his first play date with someone from his class who happens to have a sister in S class to the kids had a blast. Like, I don't think I've ever seen B so happy.
Both afternoons we were at the park behind our house.
I'm exhausted but I think the kids had so much fun
and I'm in the final 2 weeks of MH being gone!!
