tgrimes I would go. Worst case scenario you get a bit bored while you eat free food and have drinks.

Remember awhile back when I told y’all my MIL plays bunco with a group of friends in her neighborhood? So at the baby shower for my SIL, her good friend was there. She raised her kids in the same town as all of us, worked with my in laws and MH babysat her kids. Anyway, she was talking about how she’s hosting bunco at her house this month. I said I’ve never bunco. Her: well can you drink? Me: yes Her: can you eat? Me: yes Her: then you can play bunco Apparently they only actually play bunco maybe twice a year. So she tells me I’m invited to her house for bunco. My in laws are in Belgium right now and my MIL sends me the evite for bunco next week. She says her friend wanted to make sure I got the invitation and if I want to go she’ll rsvp for both of us. I should go, right? I mean, all these women will be 60+ but the ones I’ve met seem like fun. It’s a Thursday night and I’ll get free food & drinks. Hmmmm. Go!

tgrimes I’ve been to a bunco exactly like that! Go! It was a lot of fun! I actually liked playing too but so much wine lol. Well O has the stomach bug. So much vomit in the middle of the night. I need to buy a 2nd mattress protector... therefore, no egg hunt for us this morning. We are just going to lay low at the house.

I’m sorry cookswithwine! sarahwithanh, Tanner was bit at the daycare he was at once, we had to pay for his medical bills. We were pissed. He only went once a week, and the other dog was there every day. After that incident, Tanner can’t go to any playgroup because anytime he felt bullied he attacked. I would look at the daycare policy on incidents like these. Even ask the facility. I wouldn’t offer either unless they have definitive proof that your dog was the other dog. From the sounds of it, they aren’t sure your dog was even involved. I agree with being worried about the daycare because one or two people should always be with them at all times for this exact reason.

Hope he’s been better today cookswithwine! Also, the second mattress protector was essential for night time potty training (obviously down the line).

Update: he only threw up again once this morning. Lots of #3 though and a 102 degree fever. Thanks for all the well wishes!

I give you ladies a ton of credit that solo parent for an extensive period of time. I’m over it. My kids have done nothing but fight and steal toys from each other all morning. My H comes home at some point today but he’s hungover so I’m not expecting much from him. He already said he has plans to lay on the couch and watch the masters. Ugh. Ok bro.

He just had a cow because H made a mess in the front room. Granted he took a hard boiled egg in there and the yolk was everywhere, but it was a definite overreaction. Calm the fuck down dude.

There is a fine balance between giving my H tasks to do and not sound like a nag and won’t do them at all. I mostly get it wrong, but when it does work I feel like a rockstar and am much happier to be around. Why can’t they just figure this out on their own?

I’ve been asking MH to do the same tasks for over 6 weeks now. Take the extra pillows to the attic and snake the shower drain. Don’t worry though because yesterday he re-potted some herbs and tomato plants and spent 2 hours at a bunch of stores looking for a part for the weed eater...
