And since I'm on a roll right now...
Do you ever type at a computer, know you spelled a word wrong but just sit there waiting for autocorrect to fix it? I do that... more often than I'd like to admit.

I do that... more often than I'd like to admit. There are certain words that I have never been able to spell correctly EVER. I rely on spell check to do that for me. "Definitely" is one of those words. I've been trying to sound it out like I'm 5 but it doesn't work.

I knew I misspelled it, but instead of right clicking on it to fix it, I just stopped typing waiting for autocorrect to fix it like it does on my phone.

Re: typing, I know this makes no sense but if I misspell a word or realize I want to rephrase something, I can’t just reposition my cursor to the necessary part..... i backspace the entire thing and start again from where the correction is needed. I like to pretend I’m way faster at typing than I probably am (although I did get a $1k college scholarships senior year in high school for being the fastest or sumshit, #mavisbeaconFTW)

Add "necessary" to the list of words I can't spell. I'm seriously impressed that spell check knew what I was trying to type.

jubilantsquirrel I just did that today. I was typing up some meeting minutes and I kept just letting the typos go or waiting for word prediction to kick in. I would finish each section and then need to edit like a 100 things.

I've been on my period for 10 days. It's super light, but more than spotting, so definitely an actual period. So super fucking annoying. And I only had 2 weeks between the end of the last one and the start of this one. My body best figure out wtf it's doing, and fast. I'm losing patience.

I’m sorry Before kids I used to have irregular periods between 21 days and 30/31 days per cycle. The pro is that having them made me “regular”... the con is that the “regular” is a 23 day cycle. Figuring 4-6 days of bleeding (albeit some of it just spotting), I get two weeks off. When I was discussing BC options there was one that they wanted me to go on to make my periods heavier. Whyyyyyy the fuck would I want to do that? They said, “some women want that”...

Telecommuting today. More dumbness to deal with at work. I'm hoping it's a pretty slow day though.
My parents are finally getting keys to their new house today! After almost 18 months being displaced from their house after the fire, they finally get to settle into a new place. I'm really happy for them. My mom has been so excited because she's gets to start from scratch and buy brand new EVERYTHING. It's like her dream lol. C will finally get his own room and play area again. And I'm about to dump a ton of toys over there to get them out of my house. Wins all around!

I buy a lot of yoga pants from Amazon because they're cheap and if they don't fit they're easy to return. Anyway, I have this one pair that I get a ton of compliments on. I got them on Amazon but it's one of their random brands that ships from China. So one day someone at yoga told me they liked my pants so of course I shouted Amazon! at them. And they asked who makes them and I said "I dunno, Chinese people?" Like what?! Why would I say that?? I just meant that the brand is a weird one with just a bunch of random letters and it ships from China. She kind of gave me a weird look and I just said "I'm an asshole" and walked away.

Working from home today. Currently at the OB office for a checkup. I signed baby #2 up for daycare today. I don’t want to put him in until 6 mo old but wait lists can be crazy around here. Also it only cost me $200 to put him on the list so yay! (Sarcasm)

My H and his father just left for the night to go watch the frozen four hockey championship. And B is running a fever because of course.

H was outside with a sprinkler guy getting a quote when our neighbor came out to complain that water has been coming into his yard because of how our yard is pitched. Asked what we planned on doing and said he wanted to talk to us before he went to the city. H said he had an attitude about it. It's like you know it's only April right dude? It just snowed last night and has been raining a ton. We have plans but it takes time and everything kind of has to happen in a certain order. But now H is pissed and stressed out about it. So that's great. Apparently our neighbor is an asshole.

That sucks goldenlove. Speaking of stressful situations. Madison got into a Tiff with a dog last week at daycare. She has been going to this daycare weekly for nearly 3 years and never had an incident. They called to say the other owners had to take the dog to the vet for stitches and they want is to pay the $500 bill. The thing that gets me is no one saw the altercation and it was out of view of the camera. They also didn't call us and they made it seem like no big deal day of. They are telling to guilt us into paying and it just is so odd. Madison literally never initiates fights, ever. We don't want to be irresponsible dog owners but it's just odd and feels like a shakedown.

sarahwithanh well that would piss me off if no one witnessed it. The other dog could have been the one who started it and your dog was just defending herself. Gracie is usually very calm and gentle but if another dog pisses her off, she will bark and snap at them. That's how she tells the other dog to back off. Of course other people would see that as being vicious. Do you know what you're going to do?

We were at a huge dog park once - it's seriously massive - and another Boxer came up to Tyson and just started fighting with him immediately. Tyson fought back and ended up pinning down the dog. I've never heard him make such scary sounding noises before. He just stood over the other dog for a second and then let him up and the dog immediately tried to attached Tyson again and so Tyson pinned him down again. The owner was right there talking to MH (I had DS1 in a strolled and moved us further away, because holy fuck). The owner just kept talking about letting dogs sort things out and I was shouting at MH like "OMG GET TYSON!!!". No one was injured but I was legit shaking afterwards. Tyson didn't initiate it at all, but he did defend himself and I was actually pretty proud of him for that. Anyway, sarahwithanh, I would maybe considering paying half since no one saw what happened and there's no way to know if your dog was instigated by the other dog or if she was defending herself. I for sure would not pay the entire bill, but half might be an option. Depends on the owners, honestly.

The owners didn't give a shit but H jumped in and picked her up and we got the hell out of there. People at dog parks piss me off sooo bad. Gracie usually avoided the other dogs and just liked to wander around by herself which was fine by me. I stayed with her the whole time because I'm anti-social and didn't want to talk to the other people anyway. PLUS that's what you're supposed to do so you can watch them and pick up after them which was another issue and another reason we stopped going.

PLUS that's what you're supposed to do so you can watch them and pick up after them which was another issue and another reason we stopped going. We rarely go to dog parks now. So many weird people. The one by our house was the worst. Often times people would bring their dog to play catch with them and then get mad when other dogs would try to join in. Like, it's a giant open field and you're throwing a ball, there's not a lot that can be done to stop other dogs from also want to chase the ball. But Tyson was sometimes an asshole. If a dog was playing catch with it's owner Tyson would run in front and cut off the other dog, but he didn't care about the ball, he was just trying to get the other dog to chase him. The lady that pissed me off the most was one who had a very old German Shepard that Tyson kept trying to play with. He was the only other dog there and the lady kept getting mad and saying that her dog was too old to play and we needed to put our dog back on his leash and I'm like no, why are you at an off-leash dog park with a dog that is too fragile to play with other dogs? That doesn't make any sense. Then there was the man who ran over his own dog in the parking lot. No one knew if she was ok until several weeks later when he was back at the dog park. She was ok - a little injured but not seriously. Then he tried to lie and say that some random person came down his long dirt road and ran over his dog and then drove away. Which was hilarious because he was saying this to the same people who were there when this incident happened. And also he lived like 3 streets over from us and there aren't any long dirt roads in our neighborhood.

jubilantsquirrel Omg to the guy running over his dog! I had a lot of stories too but it's been so long that I can't remember all the idiots now. It was mostly people not paying attention to their dogs and treating the dog park like it was THEIR time to socialize. No you don't get to sit by the front and talk to your friend while your dog is on the opposite side taking a shit and bothering my dog. I think the only thing worse than people at dog parks is people on the FB page for the dog park. Boy that was entertaining.
