Uhhh.... This should be much bigger news. Steve Feinberg, the head of Trump's Intelligence Advisory Board, owns an Arkansas military training company that the Saudi murderers of Jamal Khashoggi used to train. t.co/2fqIzyRpJC

Trump says he is saving Amy Barrett for RBG's seat:
Also apparently one of the reasons he didn't put her up over Bart is because she went to Notre Dame and he prefers Harvard and Yale.
The story was posted 15 hours ago so I don't think this is a joke. But who the fuck knows in this administration anymore.

I liked this take from the MN Lt. Gov. re: Biden and being handsy.
This is just a wildly bad take. First, no one is saying creep behavior is the same as sexual assault. But just like constantly worrying about being assaulted, maneuvering around creepy encounters is *exhausting*. It’s like an app that runs in the background draining your battery

It wasn't just Jared. Whistle-blower says Trump granted security clearance to 25 people who were denied:
I guarantee you if Obama had done this, Republicans would be burning shit down. You know, like every other thing that goes on in this God-forsaken administration so why would security clearances be different?

I will be watching the election tomorrow for WI Supreme Court judge. My family member has been posting lots of anti-abortion propaganda daily in anticipation of the election. I am crossing my fingers that voters choose Lisa Neubauer and hoping my family member is just screaming into an abyss.

But just like constantly worrying about being assaulted, maneuvering around creepy encounters is *exhausting*. It’s like an app that runs in the background draining your battery they brought up points similar on CNN this morning as well. It was asked, is it somewhat generational?
and is it diminishing the metoo movement because its not risen to assault.
I have thoughts but I feel like I'm gaslighting myself. Because you have the right to not be uncomfortable in any setting, especially a professional one. But I had a boss who was of Bidens generation and he was very touchy. Not in a creepy way (at least to me), he was just that kind of person, just tactile. It wasn't like he was slapping someones ass, but he would put his hands on your shoulder or give you a hug when he saw you (or a lot of his clients). I dont think he ever kissed anyones head because his wife would have had his, but again, it didn't bother ME or seem to bother any of the other women in the office. But I'm also very tactile. I dont go around touching strangers but I will hug you if I know you.
As for the diminishing aspect, I think anytime you are made to feel uncomfortable it should be taken seriously and just because SHE didnt feel it rose to an assault level doesnt mean others didnt.
Ana Navarro said she does believe its generational but that Biden should call both Anita Hill and Lucy Flores and apologize.

Mittens is reportedly working on an ACA replacement:
The tweet quote-tweets a Hill article about how GOP lawmakers are privately rooting against Trump's ACA court challenge. How about they start doing it publicly, FFS?

To add to my previous posts, I’m not emotionally burn-it-down about Biden at all. I feel pretty ambivalent about him. He’s done lots of good things along with some less-than-stellar things during his career and who knows what his thoughts and intentions were when he was sniffing ladies’ hair. I’d still vote for him over the pussy grabber.
I just want dudes from all generations to realize now that this sort of behavior makes many people feel uncomfortable and objectified in professional environments. They are not entitled to kiss, sniff, grab, or massage other folks whenever they want to. This shouldn’t be hard for anyone to process. But apparently an SNL-style PSA is required to inform some “good” men of all the ways the rules have changed now that they have to treat women, minorities, and professional subordinates as full-fledged equal human beings.

All of the military and security people I talked to in 2016 who couldn’t get past Hillary’s emails look like such fools to me at this point. This administration is beyond horrible in terms of national security. They routinely compromise it in the name of greed and power. ☹️

Good Morrow all! I have missed you. Mitch McTurtle is looking to change the rules again to fill lower court seats with Anti Abortion, LGBTQ hating judges. He is doing this "in case Trump loses." Sigh. oreobitsy I feel for you. I know your hoping for the abyss but to me it feel like out of the abyss comes the heard of brain dead, gun toting, zombies. Mitch McConnell Plans To Change The Rules Again To Confirm Trump Judges

One of the Krassenstein brothers started following me on Twitter this weekend and it kind of weirds me out. I'm not very active besides liking and retweeting things. I have no idea where he found me.

Thread.
The whistleblower who raised concerns about White House security clearances, Tricia Newbold, was suspended w/o pay for 2 weeks.
The stated reason?
Failure to follow a new policy to scan documents in separate pdf files instead of a single pdf file

I don't think this administration has gutted those yet. ETA and having read the thread, my gosh, just horrifying treatment.

All four of today's indicative votes in UK failed. Hot mess express chugs along.

Well apparently there’s only a three week supply of avocados if it’s shut down. But it probably has to do with other goods manufactured outside the US and not avocados
