My sitter is now 15 minutes late; she is normally on time or even early. She texted me this morning to confirm. No response to my text or call (and her VM box was full). Am I seriously going to have two different sitters no show-no call in two days?? What the heck. I hope she shows up or at least calls. Did you ever hear back from the one yesterday? |

Crisis averted, sitter showed. She got the times confused and felt terrible, and we were able to move our reservation back a bit.
Phew! I really need this night out, I was going to be so bummed if we had to stay in.

I finally heard back from the Wednesday girl the next day(!) She apologized and said she didn’t put it on her calendar and had been at work. IDK. I didn’t respond, I don’t know why it took you 24 hours to let me know that. One of the other moms who she sits for had a theory. I’m not sure if I’ll try to use her for book club again. |

My child won't let us change the channel from the Madelyn McCann documentary. She keeps asking me if the little girl knows she is missing.
This show is really not appropriate for her to be watching, but she seriously flips out if we try to change it.

Not sure if this is the docuseries or not. It's basically the same info thus far. |

We're semi settled. No clothes here yet but I ran and got pjs and the boys are laying down. I'm about to take a bath in my ginormous tub. The dogs are so excited to be here. 😊

I remember watching Unsolved Mysteries with my mom at this age and I turned out fine 🤪 I loooved Unsolved Mysteries. And Rescue 911. I had a crush on John Stossel from 20/20 when I was in middle school. |

I've been puttering around trying not to sit on my butt and do nothing productive like I did every other night this week. I just tried some Aztec clay mask, washed a carseat cover to give to my friend, and booked us to test out peleton bikes tomorrow morning so we can decide if we actually like it or not instead of just debating how stupid the price is..

It's been an exhausting week. E hs second round of strep, we had science fair at pre-K and I had 2 big work things plus a big deadline. But we're on spring break baby! No work for over a week! Tomorrow afternoon I have a swim meet and on Monday we drop of E with the in laws. I will miss him but I'm sure he'll have a great time and only be bored a little. I can't wait to be on the beach enjoying a nice drink.

Well that was an embarrassing middle school game of basketball Michigan played last night! I went to a conference downtown which was kind of fun, got to see an old friend who moved back to the area. Pizza and movie night is on tap for tonight. I may wash our linen curtains in hopes they will shrink enough that we don't need to hem them... pretty sure we still will, but maybe will look less ridiculous until we get around to that in a million years... Get some hem tape, it’s super easy to use! I do have some of that for our Ikea ones upstairs..which I am excited to try! The downstairs curtains have a 4" hem right now, so a bit worried it'd look weird since it's semi-sheer and not light blocking. Full disclosure, I don't trust myself with pottery Barn curtains and would be grouchy every time I looked at them if I messed them up. |

Yay! inthekitty! The pic didn't work for me though. When do you fly out again? I hope you guys have the best time and get good weather! I think I failed at the pic. I don't know why some codes don't work on here because I know I entered it correctly. We fly out early SAT morning.  My big brother was supposed to go with us. He rode up with my mom but had a panic attack about going and ended up staying home. Such a bummer. :/ |

I didn't even get to the "new" information part of the show. I had to put Cadence to bed and mh changed the channel. Now I need to find it again just so I can watch the 2nd half of it.
