Age: 4
Milestones: He's had a funny leap in his sense of humor. He's mostly applying it to his brother which is making for interesting parenting this week.
Challenges: Mostly just listening. Or the lack thereof.
Funny/cute stories: I caught him trying to eat his hot chocolate mix yesterday while I was preparing breakfast. When I told him not to do it again, he said, "uhhhh, what did you see?" Which is making me wonder what else he was up too...
I'm good. Much better than last week!
QOTW: I'm reading Tempests and Slaughter for fun, which sounds quite violent but isn't at all. It's a prequel to my favorite YA series. I'm also reading The History of the Ancient World. I had a terrible history teacher, and I'm just realizing all the gaps I have in my knowledge of it. The same author has written an elementary level history book as well, so the boys and I have that to read together too.

I keep meaning to check in on you guys, been so long!
Age: 4 years
Milestones: Finally spelling his name and his dog's name as well. He's much more into numbers than words.
Challenges: Still insists on coming to my bed in the middle of the night. Still in pull-ups overnight.
Funny/cute stories: His lates thing: whenever I sneak out of the room, Dylan comes to find me and will exclaim,"There you are! I was so worried about you!"
How are you? Pretty good these days!
Anything else? So anxious for real spring weather! I have a Sheltie puppy who's now 9 months. He and Dylan are best buds. Can't wait for more outside play to tire both out!
QOTW: What are you reading right now? Need a new book! Probably will start the latest Jodie Picoult book that's name escapes me right now.

Age: 9 months
Milestones: Nothing new since last week. Just crawling EVERYWHERE
Challenges: Keeping him out of things lol
Funny/cute stories: We just started putting him down on the ground to crawl, instead of keeping him in the play pen, and he is SO HAPPY. He goes around slapping the ground in excitement. And he follows us around too. I said to DH this morning that he's like a tiny happy velociraptor lol
How are you? Pretty good. Just tired from work. We have neighbors who play their bass SUPER loud, and continue to even though they've been warned, so we're working with our super to get them evicted. I'll be much better when they're gone, because the bass goes straight through my head whenever I'm trying to relax.
Anything else? F has his 9 month appointment on Tuesday and I can't wait to see what his weight is =)
QOTW: What are you reading right now? I just started a new book. It was a free offer, something that kept coming up on Facebook. It's called Extinction Reversed by J.S. Morin, and so far so good.
