I’m going out to dinner tonight for my girlfriend’s birthday. We are getting Mexican and I’m so excited. Give me all the margaritas and guac.

Haircut for O this morning then birthday pool party. It was in the upper 70s so I brought my suit but the water was frigid! So I just dipped my toes in and let O play. I think late March is still a bit early for a pool party. March madness adults only party tonight.

We've just been hanging out all day. I have a friend's engagement party later tonight. I'm excited to get out but I'm not excited to drive downtown.

C had his first swimming lesson this morning. He had fun but also seemed to be over it before the half hour was over. We were also not very prepared. Totally forgot to bring C a shirt for going home since I brought him in his rash guard. I just threw his jacket on him for the ride home. Nothing else super exciting going on for us this weekend.

goldenlove My MIL does something similar. She gets us large stuff without asking. Example: rocking horse, kids table and chairs, bike, ball pit. I have had to get better about saying no as well. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but it’s stuff we don’t need and I have no room for. She’s a hoarder (like seriously, I don’t let O go to her house) so she doesn’t understand why someone would not want more stuff. Yikes. Large things are really not things you just throw at someone randomly. The worst was when they knew we were getting ready to sell our house and they still constantly brought shit. kleigh has your MIL got anything crazy lately? Well I’m not sure if this is crazy... but definitely unnecesssy and excessive. Each day she comes, she brings something... either brand new, from goodwill, or stuff from my SIL that she never got rid of. Most of the time this is stuff that’s not appropriate for 2.5 year olds. Little mini bouncy balls, toys with tons of tiny parts, about 25 my little pony’s (not inappropriate but unnecessary), about 15 monster high looking stuffed dolls, stuffed animals galore - like a SHITTON, sharpie markers, a pig that “poops”, keychains with ultra bright laser light, clothes that are 3 sizes ahead, donuts - every day she is here (the kids are at the accidental tattling stage, hot wheels big garage with 50 hot wheel cars (it just sits there), walkie talkies, a second set of huge bean bag chairs, an extra loaf of bread for AB to carry around the house.... you know, just general excess

Hi, I’m here. I’m exhausted bc t was the one nice day we’ve ad so we went on two walks and a run with the kids. in addition to a Target trip, etc. Also yesterday they were just non stop, I actually had to sit once or twice to catch my breath and recalibrate.
I think it’s going to rain tomorrow so I’m hoping for a very lazy day!!

I'm finally feeling a bit better and getting my appetite back (which is good considering I lost 5lbs this week). My aunt brought me some home made chicken soup and mom is coming over to help once the boys get home so I don't have to do too much all at once.

I don’t... don’t laugh but I have no clue what all the options are. Fit bit v Apple Watch or my phone or something else. I think my phone does it but only if I have it on me obvi (which I don’t always).

I think my phone does it but only if I have it on me obvi (which I don’t always). ETA : Yes my phone caught some of it. So during the work week my steps average 4-5k (I have to get that up). When I’m in the house with the kids I don’t usually have my phone on me bc I don’t want them to see. But still, I had it in my pocket for part of the day and it was 8k. Saturday was 13k. ETA ETA: Friday was probably harder bc it’s a lot of bending and lifting and stooping and carrying, much more strenuous than pushing in the stroller ya know.
