Easter Bunny photos today and while we are there I will hit up gymboree and crazy 8 to see what’s left and if it’s a good price. Then lunch at the mall then C heads off to work.

Also, Pete started having weird episodes on March10th, turing into full on seizures 3-4 times a day. The vet did a full work up of tests; blood draw, urine test and even did two days of blood pressure readings at home. He is diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and his seizures are neuro related. He’s on anti seizure meds and hyperthyroidism pills twice a day forever now. I’m ok now and understand it, but it was a long couple days with lots of crying. Turns out, Pete isn’t invincible 😭 Here he is being patient for a bp reading  |

Ugh. The flight did not happen...too windy. I am so frustrated FOR mh.
If tmrw doesn’t work, this week is probably a wash due to weather. There’s a scholarship that he wanted to apply for but you have to be FAA rated to do so...and it’s due 4/1. At this rate he’ll miss it. Two months, basically wasted on account of the flight school, this FAA dude, and weather.
Sorry, just a vent. I hate this because it’s completely out of my control.

Neither MH or I feel like parenting so we are taking turns hiding out in our room. The only difference is that nobody bothers him and everyone comes to bother me every 2 seconds.

Poor Pete vino. How old is he? I hope the meds help him! He’ll be 17 in June and I’ve had him for 15 years. The thyroid meds will kick in within a couple weeks and they’ll be follow up blood tests; the anti seizure meds started helping immediately but they make him a little weak so I’m really paying attention to his quality of life now. I’m snuggling and carrying him around whenever he needs/wants. I’m ignoring my family a little. Sorry family, Pete needs me 🤷♀️ |

We had opening ceremony this morning at the ball oark. The kids played for a bit after and we’re home now. I’m trying to pick up around the house and do some cleaning so tomorrow I can purge something.
We’re probably going out for a few errands and pizza late afternoon. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We're at swim class. I sat down on one of the foldable benches and it wasn't locked so it crashed to the floor. I'm lucky that I caught myself before smashing my head in the wall. My arm scraped the wall, so I'll probably get a lovely bruise.
So embarrassing. And Cadence, who was also sitting on the bench sighed loudly,"Mother!" Like I did it on purpose!

Happy weekend! The weather is so nice today, almost all of the snow is melted from my yard. We are supposed to get some rain later tonight though so it’ll still be wet for a while. I slept in and have just bummed around the house with my fam since. I told H after nap we can go to a nearby park and she was excited. Right now I’m sitting out on my deck enjoying some iced coffee and the sun. vino I’m sorry you all went through that. I hope his quality of life is still good for a long time. Happy birthday to Chase joelies! I hope his day is great! |

joelies Happy Birthday to Chase! Closing went great yesterday. The owner left everything, he had said furnished but he even left the kitchen stocked with plates, cups, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, etc, plus sheets and towels for all the beds and baths. DH is away Monday-Thursday so if I have a free day, I may go down with C and just wash it all. We plan on spending the next 2 weekends there before spring sports begin. Today is another hockey tournament but local. They won their first game and the next is in 45 minutes. One or two more tomorrow depending on their standings. DH’s brother is coming to this game and hopefully we will go for dinner after.
