The sun is shining and I'm in a good mood!

Morning! Kind of rainy and gray here. We have gymnastics at 10 and then I have a bunch of errands to run.

Morning! It’s preschool day for both kids so I get a couple hours to myself this morning. I’m going to run to Lowe’s or HD to get some potting soil and a pot because I have some spinach I want to try and grow outside. It is also nice and sunny here, I hope most of the snow melts from my yard, we only have a few patches left.

Did my easy swim this morning. Swim meet on Saturday afternoon and another next weekend. I just wish my belly would go away! I'm hoping it us period bloat and that I start this week so I don't have it on vacation. The one time I wish I was on the pill and could control it.

Also it is crazy sock day today and I'm sure mh and E forgot so we will hear about it tonight

H informed me that MIL has been buckling her incorrectly. She doesn’t buckle the bottom one and instead uses a bungee cord across her like a seatbelt. I’m pissed. She’s coming to get H this afternoon and she will get an earful.

Cadence called me fat and stupid last night. I'll be glad when Spring Break is over and she's not around the big kids any more. I'm also getting a preview of what life with a kindergartner will look like. No naps, even her short 30 minute ones, are apparently necessary for her to be normal. Her bedtime will be getting bumped up soon to alleviate all the moodiness that comes with her being tired.

Got my allergy shots this morning. My arms immediately reacted, which doesn't usually happen. Clearly my body is already full of all the allergens it can take. It's ready to implode. I think I'm close to my maintenance time, which is when I get reevaluated and I go back to weekly shots for 6 months.

klong11 I’m starting to hate camp days at school because there is a dramatic increase in attitude and backtalk when Dude is around the older kids.

No name-calling yet, but I am sure he’s going to try that out before very long.

So much sass with this kid. She hears everything and thinks it's ok since they are saying those things. Then she had a complete meltdown because she got in trouble for it. Not cool.

Morning from the coffee drive thru. Just got done registering H for preschool next year 🙁 Kids requested a car wash so we’ll head there next since it’s needed. Just some errands to run today and taking N and my niece to the photographer since they are missing their dance studio pictures this weekend.

Dh left last night until late Sunday. It’s dreary today and i wish the sun was out to give me the boost I had yesterday. I want to be productive, i just have no energy!

Morning and hi! Thank you for the tag a couple days back tallb, we were so busy this past weekend and then it seemed to carry through to this week.

The visit with my parents was so fun; gosh, it was good to see them. They loved getting to see B play golf and basketball, we ate out a lot, Mom and I got to shop, and generally we just had a good time. B was SO bummed when they left; luckily we are going down there in early May for a family reunion so we have something concrete on the calendar, which helps.

This week it's been one thing after another...MOPS stuff, appointments, and DH had several flights which cuts into my downtime I just got back from Dillards, where I finally caved and bought a rain jacket. I'm sure now it'll be sunny and dry here. You're welcome, Virginia.

According to H she has a hard time undoing the buckle. Well then tell me that and we would figure something out. I would be fine with her just using the regular seatbelt over her HBB in MIL’s car, which I could have told her if she asked. Grrrr!

Just another day at work. I’m bored and thinking of what I need to get accomplished. Leaving work early again today and heading to the gym. M requested ham sandwiches for dinner tonight. He specifically wants mine and not Arby’s (lol), so I have to run to Publix to grab ham so I can do grilled ham and cheeses for dinner. Easy peasy.

I just wired all the rest of the money need to close tomorrow! Now I’m picking up DD, 2 nephews, and a friend’s son because they have a half day. Will drive thru Wendy’s to feed them then we are free the rest of the day besides picking up T. I felt bad not getting him early but I ran out of room and I did take him to Chuck E Cheese yesterday and he’s skipping school to come to the closing with us tomorrow.

So initiated getting a team together for a triathlon relay in September. It is sponsored by mh work so in asked his runner coworker and she found a biker. Well this happened so quickly I didn't tell MH and his coworker came over asking him about it and he was confused (even though I've vaguely mentioned it before). But he seems a little pissed even though it impacts him none because he'll be out of town. Even though logistics need to be figured out, I'm glad I have something scheduled.

I can walk now at almost normal speed with little discomfort, which is more than I could have asked for at 8 weeks out. But oh dear, I wasn't thinking and sort of jogged a few steps over the weekend while playing soccer in the backyard with Colin and WHOA. Part of me feels like I'll never be ready to run again but I also know how much better it feels now compared to just a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping to be jogging a bit in time for the GTG. Thanks for asking about me despite me being so absent lately.

Hi hi - gross day here. I'm tired bc mh barely slept, which means I barely slept. Apparently our Google home was beeping at 1am, which is odd.

We are going to dicks to get tball stuff tonight. They have tball day on Saturday but figure it'll be picked over and I have a coupon to use. I also just did target pickup order for the first time since it's in the same mall. I'm trying the Kristen ess shampoo I have heard about, and some new cheapy sneaks for N since I think her current ones are small and her teacher says they stink😬. We have two bags of hand me down shoes, but I can't help but want to get new ones..I'll go through those this weekend though.

I'm sure you're all dying to know, but I decided how to tell the kids about the Disney trip. We're going to do a treasure/scavenger hunt thing. My husband came up with it and it's been cute to see him get all into it as well because I'm the Disney crazy in the family. We're going to do it next Friday night just before we leave for the airport.

flamingo I'm glad you were able to reschedule your visit with your parents and had a fun time.

Apparently the bungee cord was “just for fun” and she thought the chest clip was enough. She said that she can’t undo it because her thumb is messed up. I got her all set up with the regular car seat belt and now she is safe. So frustrating though since she knows how important carseat safety is to me.
