Team: green
Appointments: next friday
Milestones: n/a
Symptoms: heartburn, terrible sleep, hips hurt
Rants: I really wish I could sleep better at night, and not be falling asleep at work. The doctor thinks baby has not flipped to head down. He was not concerned at all, and there is time, but just one more thing to worry about.
Raves: I can not believe that I have less than 2 months to go!

Week/EDD: 32w4d. May 9
Baby is the size of: a pomelo
STM
Team: green
Appointments: Thursday
Milestones:
Symptoms: the usual.
Rants: none really. I had a stomach virus last week and spent the a whole day lying in bed, but since then I've felt really good. I think I just really needed the rest.
Raves: We spent the weekend working outside, getting the yard and garden ready. It felt so nice to be outside in the sunshine.
Also it was warm enough to put on my summer maternity clothes and surprisingly I didn't feel too huge in them. I was so sick of wearing my same maternity leggings it feels good to wear some different outfits for the last couple months of this pregnancy.

Week/EDD: 30w 1d
Baby is the size of:
FTM, Etc: STM, DS is 2
Team: Blue
Appointments: Tomorrow. I think I'm getting a tetanus shot, yay. DS has his 2 year appointment too, and DH is getting new glasses. Busy day.
Milestones: I'm really waiting for my stretch marks to show up. I don't remember when I got them last time, they're still there but they're light. I wonder if they'll go red again.
Symptoms: Tired, full. I got a big pain in my leg Saturday morning that made me call my OB's office and talk to someone on call. She made me go in for an ultrasound on my leg looking for a DVT, luckily they didn't find anything. It was just a stressful, waste of a day because I had to drive an hour to the ER, then another hour to the next hospital because our local one doesn't have an ultrasound tech on hand on the weekends. I tried to talk the on call and ER doctor into letting me wait until Monday but everyone was convinced I needed to have it done Saturday.
Rants: See above. And my toddler has started shredding things. Important things. Like my checkbook.

quinstar, my stretch marks have turned red at this point, at least the ones between my belly button and my pubic bone. DD asked what they were this morning, and was quite confused at my explanation. About 7+ weeks to go, I am scared.

About 7+ weeks to go, I am scared. Mine popped up at the very last month, I think. I thought I was going to get off scott free, and BOOM. That's why I've been waiting for them to come back, I feel like I'm already as huge as I am now, then.

Symptoms: Nothing much right now
Rants: I had to shovel after the snow storm last week bc H wasn’t home and needed to be able to get in the garage when he got home. I ended up hurting my back pretty bad. It is finally feeling a bit better today after stretching and the heating pad and I have a chiro appt for later this week.

I hope your back heals quickly, mamabear02! That sounds awful to deal with any time, but especially when pregnant.

Week/EDD: 29 weeks / June 3
Baby is the size of: a pineapple
FTM, Etc: FTM
Team: pink
Appointments: nothing this week
Milestones:
Symptoms: I am exhausted and I have heartburn off and on
Rants: I would love to have a full nights sleep! I keep waking up because my arthritis is aching and it’s getting more than slightly annoying. Also, my shower is at the end of the month and my 2 best friends aren’t going to make it. They do live about 7 hours away, and some things came up and it didn’t work out. I didn’t expect them to come since they are so far away, but I am sad about it.
Raves: nothing this week

Week/EDD: 28+5, EDD 6/6
Baby is the size of: an eggplant
FTM, Etc: FTM
Team: 💙
Appointments: next week at 30 weeks
Milestones: our house is starting to fill with baby gear!
Symptoms: heartburn, back pain, tired all the time. I’ve also been dealing with some possible antepartum depression...working with my therapist, and investigating some support groups.
Rants: as I’ve gotten into third trimester, I feel so isolated. It’s so hard to find other moms at the same stage. Some of the other regulars at prenatal yoga and I have been chatting more after class, but we’re still in that acquaintance stage. And some of my good friends who have kids haven’t been reaching out as much...probably they have their own stuff going on but it’s exhausting to feel like I’m the only one making an effort at the relationship.
Raves: it’s exciting getting all the packages for our baby shower! Since we’re traveling for this first shower, the big stuff is already arriving at our house. We’ve gotten our swing, high chair and car seat so far!

Week/EDD: 25
Baby is the size of: prairie dog
FTM, Etc: TTM
Team: Green
Appointments: Yesterday, u/s and MFM - well, never actually met with the MFM. The tech was able to get all but one view she needed of the heart and everything looked ok.
Milestones:
Symptoms: round ligament pain and maybe Braxton hicks?
Rants: Just starting to feel huge and get wiped out if I do too much already, which it seems early for that but maybe because I'm "advanced age"?
Raves: SIL's set a date for a baby shower so it's time to do a registry.

Week/EDD: 25+5 / July 1st / RCS June 24th or 25th
Baby is the size of: some upside down pie
FTM, Etc: STM
Team: Pink
Appointments: Had one on Thursday but I spent Monday and yesterday in L&D due to a fall and some bleeding. Everything is good. They did a precautionary US yesterday so I got to see LO again. She looks almost identical to DD1 now!
Milestones: Almost at 26 weeks and everything is going well.
Symptoms: Nausea and fatigue. Plus I feel huge. My belly is measuring 29 weeks...I'm not even 26:/
Rants: I don't think I can last through rebuilding our house. I think we need to sell and move. We've been with my parents for over 4 years and we're at a point where everything out of my mother's mouth is a passive aggressive insult about myself, DD or SO. I'm just done with it. I would put up commuting ridiculous distances to just be on our own space at this point. The problem is our house already has the kitchen and bathroom torn apart...and we would have to sell as is. I'm hoping we can figure something out and make it work.
Raves: Only about 13 weeks to go:)

sammysam, how scary about your fall! I’m glad everything turned out okay! Also, I cannot imagine living with my parents with children so I can definitely see why you’re ready to get out.

Thanks guys. SO and I had a talk today. He said he redesigned the plans so we can keep the structure intact for the house and just pull it all back to the studs and go from there. It should shorten our time line and make the overall cost lower. He said he can finally get it started this summer and we might even be in well before the end of my mat leave! I emailed my banker anyways to get some ideas for mortgages just in case:/
