It's a week late but here's my spread after the pen.

I really need to stop being so careful with my sticker placement and enjoy it more. I love your pages McBenny.

At my last planner meet up I learned there are ladies that use wax paper over their pages and place the stickers on there first to see if they like it before sticking onto the paper.
It's not that serious for me but whatever makes people happy is my motto.

I have finally found a bullet journal layout that has been working. I want to find some pastel pens to add some light (not highlighter bright) pops if color). I sometimes add stickers or little pictures or washi tape, but the minimalist look has been mentally calming for me.

Again, the right way is the way that works for you.

That's great loony. I was trying recently to remember who here had said they bullet journal. And yes McBenny I've been really learning about what WORKS for me and it's great. The planners with all the pretty stickers and washi tape really really appeal to me but I'm so glad I had the foresight to realise that I would be overwhelmed with making it perfect if I bought into that sort of project. I've been doing colored pens and a little doodling/watercolor/markers and a little washi. I think I'll stop with the washi now for April. I need my bullet journal to be a little bit of a creative outlet so I can rearrange my layouts every week.

I was not even a washi person until I got to a month where I had ugly leaves at the bottom of the page. I had to cover it with washi.
I write a lot.
Most of the time I put stickers on later and done.
I do like stickers for repetitive things like bills etc.

alwayscheese, it's this one. I started with the A5, but I love this size. I like having the whole week in one spread with enough room to jot notes, extra tasks and I like the blank space...it's almost meditative to me now.

I was asked why I needed such excessive size/space and I was like ........ It's not excessive? I need everything for my week on one page/layout so I'm not flipping through my notebook to a budget spread + meals + habits and then my weekly. Also I write big.
