This has been a super long week for some reason. I am leaving at noon today and going to my TSA Pre check appointment. I figure I travel enough for work now that it's worth it.

I just realized that I forgot to put C in his Irish shirt today and they are celebrating today at school.

Morning. Day at the office today. Dd woke up with a fever and is at my parents. They had planned to take the kids to an eco centre, so that sadly fell trough. Hopefully it’s a one day thing. I’m so sick of the rain, I want to go out and do stuff!!!

wedding I think it's the time change because this has been a LONG damn week! I'm so glad it's Friday.

Morning! We got home at 10:30 last night. I’m so sick of driving. 2 hours a day commuting for work, the trips to STL. I’m over it! Thankfully I just have one week left in my detail and my work commute will go back to 10 minutes!

But we have trips the next 3 weekends in a row. One is just 2 hours away for next weekend, then 4 hours away the weekend after (Kentucky), and the 10 hours the following weekend (Georgia) for a wedding. I will be spending all my monies on gas and hotel rooms the next few weekends.

I'm at work. I have to go to attend a board meeting for one of my clients during lunch today. Not delightful.

My sister is driving down with the kids today and we leave for my parents in the morning.

Daddy Daughter day here. Mh is dropping Cadence off at school, then picking her up at her lunchtime to take her to his office, out to lunch, and then the mall. She's going to be so excited(it's a surprise).

Currently getting my pedicure. Great way to start my day. I have to make a target run for returns, then my hair appointment, then to the movies by myself. I told Mh about going to the movies last night and he wondered why I didn’t ask him to go. Sorry H. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Happy Friday! WFH today. Seeing Mama Mia at a dinner theater tonight with my Sister, Brother, BIL and SIL which should be fun. It was a Christmas gift from my parents, who are also keeping the kids over night. Then tomorrow we're heading to the ILs.

My boss emailed asking if I want to go to a conference in Denver in April, and I don't for so many reasons. Too bad it isn't on the same weekended as the GTG, or I'd feel differently! I'm trying to think of an excuse... I planned on telling him I'm KU after my appt next week so maybe I'll just use that (even though that's not a legitimate reason not to go). On top of that, I'm hosting a baby shower for my SIL the day after I would get back. (again, not legitimate, but no way I could prep everything overnight). Aaand I'd feel bad traveling on his dime and then quitting 2 weeks later. (PDQ)

Morning! Finally Friday and week one of spring break down! Lucas goes back to school Monday, but then Landon and Ryland are off. The perks of having kids in three different schools.

I sorted through all of our bins of kids clothes in the garage and we’re going to have a garage sale tomorrow. We have some really nice stuff and some of it’s never been worn, but I’m sick of going through the effort of taking stuff to once upon a child for them to take five things and offer me $2 or something ridiculous. So we’re just putting everything out and saying every item is $2. Getting rid of the clothes makes it a little more definite that we are done with babies.

I have had good success on thred up. First time I sent it was just my clothes, but quite a bit still had tags or only worn once and I made $130. I have my second bag being picked up today with a few kid clothes. Good luck at the garage sale!

He seems to be doing fine.  He got his drivers license back, which he loves but my sister and I don't.  

My sister and I decided we should take the kids up there before his dementia gets too bad, in plus....he's old.  My nieces and nephews don't remember visiting their house and it's their spring break next week.  My sister hasn't gone to visit them with the kids in 6 years because it costs a fortune for all of them to fly out there.

I’m so glad it’s Friday. I don’t know where all my energy went, but I’ve been such a lump all week.

Hopefully we have a restful weekend and I can get back in to the swing of things.

It has been a long fricking week. At least I've mostly stayed on top of the cleaning so I don't think I have to spend much time doing that this weekend and can actually relax. It's supposed to be beautiful out. So looking forward to it.

What timeframe do you give someone to respond back when they say they will take something? I posted my mattress for free and responded to the first person at 8:15 this morning asking when she can come. I also texted her about an hour ago to see if she can come today or tomorrow but if not I’ll have to move on. I have five other inquiries. When should I give her til? It’s noon here btw.

I also realized I forgot to send the kids in their St. Patrick's Day shamrock headbands from the Dollar Store. I didn't realize it falls on a Sunday. Oh well.

I had the strangest thing happen last night. I had just fallen asleep and I heard my doorbell. DH isn’t home so I log into my ring app and see a woman on my steps. She seemed familiar but without my contacts and half asleep, I can’t place her. I ask what she wants and she’s like it’s E, here with the wallet. I reply Dr. E? And she says yes. I’m like what wallet, we aren’t missing a wallet. She goes “ is this “ and then she says my street name and I say yes. She says does the M family live here and I say no and tell her who I am. Then she says a house number that is my neighbors 2 doors down. She was mispronouncing their last name so I didn’t pick up on it right away. She is my son’s therapist and apparently also my neighbor’s therapist and one of them left their wallet at her office. How random that she ends up ringing my bell!

Also DH has never met her but also sees her on the ring app so now he was texting me “who is the crazy lady on our steps?”
