I can definitely say I have insomnia at this point. I am pretty sure it is the new medication so hopefully it will level out soon. It's so frustrating being tired but awake or sleeping in 45 min clips.
C has speech this morning and DH is taking him so I came to work super early at 6am so I can leave at 3 and hit Target. C really wants the leprechaun trap we made to work so I think I am going to get some chocolate and a small toy to put in the box and pretend the leprechaun left it but escaped. |

Morning! Waiting for DH to wake up but he seems pretty content to sleep. We went to Scarpetta for dinner last night and it was amazing, such a good pick. That and talking to the boys made my night.  We've been doing quite a bit of walking so my ankle was pretty swollen last night, but it seems fine now. The doctor told me it would do that sometimes and that's normal, but it still freaked me out a bit. |

Ugh wedding, that's like having a newborn baby sleep. I hope everything gets leveled out soon and you're back to your new normal. We had our taxes done Saturday and already received our state of Kansas refund this morning. Hopefully the federal is fast too since we have to pay Missouri. It was a nice surprise to see our balance increase overnight instead of decrease! |

No fun. wedding You need a short work day so you can go home and nap. mwhip it took about a week to get our federal return. As soon as it hit, I sent the check to pay state. |

I let mh take Cadence to what I believe is her final brace appointment. Now I'm impatiently waiting for an update. Normally, I take her (obviously), but he had the day off and I didn't feel like paying the $65 copay. I figure there is no new information coming at him so it shouldn't be too hard.

Morning!
It’s my Friday today. I have appointments for a pedicure and a haircut tomorrow. My dad is coming in for the weekend so that should occupy the boys quite a bit and give me more time to myself before I go back to the solo parenting for the next month.
Anyone else having tapa troubles? It freezes up on me constantly. So annoying.

My in laws got tickets to the rodeo last night. Santana was playing. I didn't get to stay for the concert because I didn't want the kids to stay up that late and lol to them being interested in watching Santana play. H wasn't tall enough to do most of the rides and the one he could go on he cried the whole time. M had a blast though. Luckily with her boots on she reached 42" so she could do a few more rides this year.

wedding, I've been having some weird sleep issues too. I fall asleep just fine, but I find myself either waking up in the middle of the night and having a hrd time falling back to sleep, or waking up super early (like 4:30/5:00). It sucks.

Morning. Currently at the derm office waiting to be called back. I got a call yesterday that they had an opening this morning so I snatched it up. Both girls are at school. It’s raining again today, but lightly so I don’t see as much flooding. I do see grass though so it’s melting the snow! This afternoon I have the appt with my OB.

Appointment done. He said the dr. said to do pt as she comes off the braces. I don't think that is necessary. She doesn't wear them every day or all day, so I'm pretty sure she is fine. Plus, last time we went to pt the chick was all, yeah, just do what we've been doing, but at home. Nothing new. He also apparently wants to see her again in August to see how it's going off braces. I guess to make sure her muscles haven't tightened back up? Idk.

Last night B's cough was getting worse and sounded very bark-y. I was worried about it keeping him up so I went to look and only had Triaminic night time which I couldn't remember if it was ok for him. I am 99% sure I gave it to S around the same age, but then second guessed myself, so I called the pharmacist. He said I could give it but it wasn't proven to be effective in that age and he'd recommend something else. It's a small town pharmacy we go to, and he offered to drop it off on his way home. It felt like I was living in the 1950s!!
Anyway, it totally worked and he didn't cough at all overnight! Score!!
