Hi hi - spring fever here today, it's gorgeous out. J woke up close to 8 and seemed okay, mostly asking to play on the iPad again. He's at school. I feel like I'm perpetually behind on work and then we have company coming tomorrow, so lots to do tonight too. The exterminator came yesterday and we need to patch up some spots around pipes, so that should be a fun activity.

wedding is there anything you can take in the meantime to help with sleep or are you worried they could all be habit-forming? I already take Trazadone to help sleep. I'm allergic to Ambien and Benadryl can be habit forming apparently. I am fine going to bed but after about 2 hours I start waking every hour or so. I think I just need to wait it out. I started meds Friday night so it hasn't been a full week. |

wedding If the bed is in decent condition, I'd give it to someone. If it is stained or has been peed on (sorry, toddlers), I'd dispose of it. But there are always less fortunate families who would probably jump at the chance for a free bed. guster the cake looks awesome! I hope he has a great birthday!

I just posted it for free. It is clean. Our city has a recycling program but you have to drop it off and the hours are 8-3 Mon-Fri so it would require renting a truck and time off of work. I looked for local non profits, but no pickup is available in my area. I posted on NextDoor today. If I have no responses tomorrow I will go to Craigslist.

wedding jealous of your efficiency! We have some random furniture to get rid of that is beat up. I bet I could get rid of it by placing it as free, but I'm lazy/don't feel like dealing with people. We are close to the point of paying someone to haul it all

M's first soccer practice was cancelled due to rain. Which turned into a tornado warning. And then one was spotted about 40 minutes away. Hes still devastated and insists he can play..

trtlcrzy glad the appt is behind you. Fingers crossed for your upcoming cycle. guster glad C is having a great dino birthday! wedding insomnia sucks. I hope you get some relief soon. lfig wonderful news about S and your job. Yay! klong11 glad it seems like C is successfully moving forward in her treatment. cagoldi I also need to exercise but don't feel like it.

I started Working Moms and I'm at the same place as some others. It's okay, I'll stick it out, but too many depressing themes (PPD, being mom-tracked, etc). I like I'm Sorry because it's much lighter and funnier.
The last season of Catastrophe comes out tomorrow. I love that show. It can have some of the darker things, but I think the humor is richer so it still works for me.
Also started Umbrella Academy and it's weird but good.

My city is having a lot of flooding. The river has reached a record high. The wind is crazy right now. I just looked in my backyard and one of the fence panels got blown over. My neighbor is the one who put the fence in so she will have to repair it.  |

C thought he bit through his tongue and insisted bit was because he has one adult tooth so I checked all of his teeth and one is very slightly loose. I told him and he was so excited he did a happy dance. Guess I should get some cash on hand.

E has complained about his throat hurting when he swallows but is still eating and not whiny. So I hemmed and hawed but finally called and got the last appointment if the day. He's tested positive for strep and I realize now they barely looked in there. At least the script was filled quickly and I hit some shopping done.
And we have French silk and key lime pies.

Trying to mentally prepare for belt-testing tonight for TKD. I think the kids will do great but it always drags on forever (about 2 hours) and I'm about to pull my hair out by the time it's done and then we still need to do dinner/bath/bed. So glad tomorrow is Friday.

I'm geeked for Maddie reading "bigger kid" books. She's into Magic Treehouse now--those were past my time so I never read them, but I'm excited she likes them. I had fun reserving another MTH for her at the library as well as a junior Nancy Drew one, Encyclopedia Brown, and the first Wayside Story book. I think she'll love them.
