**grad warning** Hope tis okay I chime in! birch113 , on our 2nd cycle I had 3 follies very similar in size to yours (22, 19 and 17mm) when we triggered. All 3 of them were mature, 2 fertilized with ICSI. For a while it looked like we may be cancelled but fpr us we knew another stim cycle wasn't necessary/most very likely not going to yield any better results so we would have pressed to go ahead regardless the number of follies. I don't know your financial/insurance situation obviously, but if you can swing it financially I'd say just give it a go? Are you planning on doing a fresh transfer or (sorry if this has been mentioned in a previous check-in, I'm not really up to date with lurking unfortunately)? Anyway if you decide to go ahead, bestest of luck with ER tomorrow and I'm keeping everything crossed!

We only ended up with 2 when we had 12 retrieved, so I'm nervous, but I'm really hoping quality is better this time around. After speaking with my RE tonight and clarifying our insurance coverage, we are in for ER tomorrow. We're doing PGS testing because of RPL, so only FETs for us. Thanks for the GL!

I'm so glad we didn't cancel. My RE got FIVE follicles! My left ovary likes to hide, and he said he had to use a lot of pressure to retrieve eggs from it, so I'm sore but doing alright. Just taking t easy with my heating pad (you're welcome, cats) and holding my breath for the fert report tomorrow.

I'm working on writing up my questions for our WTF tomorrow. Anything I should add to my list? Protocols I should ask about? I read that estrogen priming is often considered one of the best for DOR (he had me on antagonist), but are there other protocols you'd recommend I ask about?

An update- multiple triegger warnings for the spoiler. My beta was positive. It was a 44 today at 11dp2dt. However, I have had some red & pink spotting, so who knows if this will work out in the end. I have had 4 losses and there was spotting with all of them. I did not have spotting with my only successful pregnancy. I can only keep on praying for this to work out. My next lab is Tuesday...so far away.

woodenshoes, keeping everything crossed for you! I hope you're able to relax and do something fun this weekend to take your mind off everything, and distract you from waiting for Tuesday!

My RE confirmed my diagnosis as severe DOR. My AMH is 0.07, FSH was 17, and my last AFC was 2. He made the recommendation that we go straight to donor egg. There is the option to do a natural IUI but he wasn't optimistic about it. MH is still refusing to persue treatments. That coupled the fact we can't afford DE has put back on the permabench. The RE is recommending that I take a bunch of supplements including DHEA, CoQ10, and Calcium w/vitamin D. I'm also being sent for a dexascan and some other things Incant remember. I am waiting on one more blood test result from the RE but it probably won't make a difference in the protocol I would follow. Ugh.

I'm sorry, @definitelynotwallie. Why doesn't YH want to pursue treatments? I hope the supplements help, whatever you end up deciding to do.

He subscribes to the everything happens for a reason philosophy. Modern medicine doesn't happen for a reason? Sorry, I've dealt with a few friends who believe that recently, and it's been grating on me. Or the people who think you just need to pray harder -- maybe G-d works through doctors! I hope you and YH can come to a solution that works for both of you! This IF thing is such an emotional roller coaster as it is, it helps to be on the same page.

MH is an atheist, not even a smidgen religiousness. He just has a very defeatist attitude. I have additional non-IF related medical hurdles that would need to be taken care of before we could start anything, including extra clearances from specialists. Because why not add on extra steps when the odds are stacked against me. I'm also probably changing jobs and I'm not sure when all of that will happen. It's also at a new company so that would mess FMLA eligibility.

I really do hope that you can get through these other hurdles and find a solution that both you and YH are happy with.
