The last time we moved, we recreated the welcome sticky thread and wrote a blog with some FAQ, etc.
The blog, in case anyone hasn't seen it, is gbcb3tif.wordpress.com [daisy818 here it is!]
I can link that blog over here, after reshaping and retooling it a bit. Lots of the info on the blog doesn't apply to board culture anymore. And I think when we created the blog, it was really a response to the culture from TB and it wasn't even pertinent to what TCF had become over time (things like the 100000 warnings I put in the blog about not posting a drive-by BFP or asking and humble bragging about pregnancy symptoms. I can remember only vaguely two or three times that someone did that on TCF but it was almost daily on TB. It's stuff like that, YKWIM? Different board culture).
It also occurred to me that we might not even need the blog. I don't have any idea how many people read it or got some use out of it.
I can also put up a welcome sticky here with some bullet points about what we do and don't do in this community. But I just wanted to get an idea of what YOU guys want to do. This is your site.
What are the things that are important to you? Are warnings important? How specific would you like to get about what constitutes proper membership conduct here on the IF board?
