That is such good news lfig! Nothing much here. It’s pouring so I’m trying to stay inside. I have a girls night tonight for drinks and sushi so I need to shower at some point.

I enjoy the call to let me know they have or will be emailing me. Almost as much as the call to let you know they just sent me an email. Yeah, I can read. Thanks. Or as soon as they send the email, they come to your office to tell you that they sent said email, but haven't even given you time to read it yet.

The last principal I worked under was a dinosaur when it came to technology. His emails were just, “come see me now.” Like you could walk away from the classroom, and even if you could, he would tell you something like make sure you gather the department at 3 o’clock and tell them x,y, and z

This paper airplane kit that B got for his birthday is right up there with the LEGO advent calendar on my list of craptastic gifts, lol. Some of these things are super complex and I just don’t have the patience to decipher the directions and make a zillion folds. I just did ‘The Rocket’ and that is my limit for the week 😂 J flew his paper airplane right into my face twice last week within a minute. It is still in toy time out... thankfully he makes them at school, I'd have zero interest in making them.

A friend of mine has recently started selling maleluca (which I thought went out of business years ago. My mom used their stuff back in the 90s). She is being very pushy and obnoxious trying to sell to all of her friends. She texted me again today about it and then, when I turned her down, she asked me for my MIL’s phone number. Like no, I don’t want to give you her number so you can pester her too. Ugh.

It is launching in Canada soon and she's asking who I know there...I claimed no one😉. I do like the makeup, just the marketing is so annoying.

Me and my mom purchased together for over a year and had a hard time meeting the minimum and eventually stopped. She's pretty ballsy to ask for your MIL's number though! I know I sell stuff, but I hope it isn't annoying.

I know I sell stuff, but I hope it isn't annoying. One of our mutual friend got the membership and said she has to spend like $80 to meet the minimum. That’s crazy to me. You are not even slightly annoying with your stuff. I appreciate when someone puts it out there that they sell something and then don’t mention it again directly.

jewels nail polish strips. I really only 'sell' them because I use them and wanted the discount. I know it's annoying so I try not to be that kind of person. I have enough FB friends who push stuff all day long, and it irritates the shit out of me! trtlcrzy when my mom and I bought, it was based off points, like you had to buy 35 point each month, so the cost varied.

Why do people call you back when you email them a question? Drives me nuts. If I emailed, email back. If I call, call back. I enjoy the call to let me know they have or will be emailing me. That’s literally what she said in her voicemail and then 15 mins called again. I said “I thought you were emailing me?” Ugh!

Her makeup looks so good with the cream based products that I was considering it.

There was a fire at the high school I work at today (I wasn’t in) at three different locations, instigated by a student. No one was hurt, but there’s a lot of damage. We’re all wondering what was happening in this kid’s head that this was his only option 😕.

I have not heard of "maskcara" makeup...the one I'm seeing everywhere now is Beauty Counter.
I'm not good with change, though...lately I've been wanting to try Sephora but the pull of the Bobbi Brown & Clinique counters is strong.

mwhip you are not annoying with your stuff at all. It’s hardly noticeable. All the PTA moms have recently started sending me FB requests and I’m like, “boy, are you about to be disappointed. It’s all slutty and Leftist things.”

I sometimes call back when someone writes me an email. But only if my answer would be complicated or I’m trying to set a meeting and there are to many variables. Sorry.

FFTC: I have never been to Sephora 😬
I am a Clinique girl...always have been. And am not good with change. So I go online and order the same stuff all the time. I’m also not a big makeup wearer. Just pause, Powder, and blush. Occasionally I throw on some mascara.

My mom volunteers at the school my sister teaches at. It’s a private catholic school. A few weeks ago a first grader lit a Kleenex on fire and it burned a few things. Nothing too bad, but the room stunk and smoked up and the kid got expelled.

Hi from Miami. We flew in on one of the 737 max8 planes that have been in the news. On the train to baggage claim, we heard 2 pilots talking about a United plane's (same model) engine catching on fire? If that's true, hping they yank them all before our flight back.

I joined the FB group for Cadence's incoming kindergarten class. I thought it was so we could all get to know each other and the kids. Nope, apparently it's just an informational page.

I got these at target: And I somehow think I’m making a version of this: I don’t worry that it won’t taste good. That’s the easy part, but I am a terrible cake froster. I will be here watching YouTube videos for hacks
