My hair appointment was scheduled for 11... it's 11:05- she's not even close to being done with the lady who is here now. This is what I get for being cheap and coming to Supercuts... lol Whatever- main thing is... kid free time!

mrspiatt how are things going with your oldest? I know when you told her about being pregnant it didn't go over well.

Guys, E blew bubbles at his swim lesson today! I was such a proud mama, it seems so silly but it was exciting. He's been refusing to even try since we started the lessons last Monday and even today at the beginning when the instructor would try to get him to do it, he said "no bubbles." But then near the end of class today, he did it!

Also, here's our family photo from Busch Gardens. It happened to be our 5th wedding anniversary that day too. sorry this is huge, I don't know how to make it smaller! PDQ And that is my sister's family in the background, one of her boys you can't see but that's the rest of them.

mrspiatt how are things going with your oldest? I know when you told her about being pregnant it didn't go over well. Things have started to get better over the last week. She hasn't brought up my being pregnant since she went off on me and H, but she's talking to me again. She's even been pleasant and ate dinner at the table with us one night last week. That was the 1st time in almost 2 months. I'm visibly pregnant though, so I know she hasn't forgotten. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I try to do a load of laundry every day/every other day. It seems like I'm forever doing laundry put it keeps the piles at bay and slightly more manageable. And if I need to push it off, it doesn't throw everything for a loop. I'm trying this now. I really don't mind laundry, but I've been feeling overwhelmed by housework in general lately and thought a schedule might help. Do you have set days for certain loads? I have a day for towels, sheets, and DD1 & 2's clothes weekly. I've heard people do whites, delicates, athletic clothes on set days but I can't figure that out. I'd have to sort anyway so then I'd have random piles laying around for days while I continue to add to them. So I've just been doing all of my clothes on one day (separated into delicates and other) as needed. I recognize I am way overthinking this. I don't think you are overthinking it! Either that or I'm a weirdo too. I do a load almost every day. Here is my schedule: m-mine and H's clothes t-A's clothes w-microfiber towels that I clean with th-kitchen towels, washcloths, bathroom towels, etc. then I do bedding on either Friday, Sat or Sunday. This will all change when the baby gets here and I start washing cloth diapers again, but this works great for now!

Not crazy about my hair... she didn't cut as much off as long wanted- I get that what I was asking for wasn't a gradual A- but I didn't want to all just blend perfectly- just chop it off and leave it longer in the front so I don't look like a man. Whatever- maybe that'll just look idiotic and that's why no one will do it for me. I also bought a different brand of dye than I usually use. As I was drying it I noticed my gray looks blue it's mostly hidden, but I haven't gone out in the sun yet... I'll need to see how man this is and figure out what to do with it. I wanted to do color- but no bleaching while pregnant and I dye my hair black.

PDQ Here is the current before and after... until I figure out the final color, which may not be a noticeable change.

I really wanted to get laundry done while A was at my friend's house... but I haven't eaten yet today and now I'm starting to feel sick. I'm going to throw a load in real quick and find a drive thru that sounds appetizing.

Urgent help! Are the black straps coming out of the shirt appropriate as a mom or at all? They are part of a super cute bra but wonder if they aren't cute.

taketheshot I grabbed it because it was on super clearance, but it might be a under shirts that cover it. I mean a $13 bra is hard to say no to.

fierymama I get it, girl! I'm just not digging it with that top I also grabbed a gray top instead of that one. That color on my skin isn't the best.

CestLaVie did you see the new recollections planners at michaels? They look like a HP x EC planner hybrid. They have coil binds and lots of HP ish prints and colours. Also, they launched stick packs very much like the create 365 ones. The teacher planner for everyday use looks amazing. They have a family planner one too with a spot to plan for each family member etc.

Just got back from the playground with H and A and this mom there was amazed by Ava. She couldn't get over how Ava could talk in sentences, count, do abcs, etc. She kept saying her four year old wasn't that advanced. It's always a proud moment for a parent, but sometimes I feel a little awkward and don't know what to say....but

I really wanted that recipe planner but then they went on sale a little while ago and were never back again! So if you want one grab it! haha. or are these completely new ones?

My Michaels is always a million years behind, likely bc it's a non-French product haha. But, I grabbed the recipe one and thought it was so nice. They aren't cheap - 44-59$. Also I had no idea about the lawsuit. Off to google and read drama' ETA- that sounds like I bought it but I just looked at it in store.
