I'm on Season 6 Episode 8 and within the last few episodes shed tears for the first time. HOLD THE DOOR That's the episode I just finished. I'm rewatching, trying to finish it before the new season but damn, some of the episodes are even more emotional the second time through. |

Me a few episodes ago: I hate these damn giants, kill them all before they make it across the wall.
Me now during this crazy white walker attack: I love you giant, thanks for stomping on a couple for our friends.
It’s so crazy to me with this show how you can go from hating someone just for being on a certain team to then loving them.
I’m also here for this Tormund and Jon friendship. What an intense episode (S5E8)
And holy crap! So is this why they are adamant about burning people when they die? Because they can get turned into walkers?
Eta: oh wait, no maybe the burning of the dead is something else and I just forget the reasoning. It seemed to me like Jon, etc seemed really shocked when those people came back to “life” as white walkers. That almost seemed like the first time they saw that? Sorry this show also has me asking lots of questions I feel I miss a lot of stuff so once it’s all done I’m going to have to watch a second time apparently to see what I’ve missed the first time

michyme I believe they burn them so they can’t be turned. I think the shock is because all the Knight King did was raise his arms and thousands rose. Like how the hell do you defeat that?!?!

I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not I want to rewatch. I binge watched 6 seasons in early 2017. Then I had to wait a couple of months for season 7 to air, and just that little bit of time “off” was enough to cause me to question a ton of things and have trouble remembering who was who. I wasn’t as into season 7 and I think that’s why. I still loved it, but it was definitely different. I tried convincing my H to watch with me, but he hates binge watching stuff (he LOVES GOT and we binged it together the first time, but he complained a lot about me wanting to go go go go). Now that michyme is watching, it really makes me want to watch it again, so I know I’m super excited about this final season. There’s no way H would do it with me this late in the game, but if I watch 2 episodes a day, it will take me about a month, so I’ll finish after the first few new episodes, and I’m ok with that. Not that any of this really matters to anyone lol I’m just so excited to rewatch some of those amazing episodes and battles again. |

junch817 we are the same person lol and our husbands too. Mine hates binge watching and likes to savour it. Like I would have watched another 3 episodes last night to finish up the season but we stopped after 1 lol so will finish up season 5 tomorrow night. Would watch with you and our husbands can just be years behind with each other

I have seen a gif of that white walker guy doing a silly dance (obvs fake) so it felt surreal actually seeing that scene play out to see the actual reason behind it. I want to watch that scene again honestly, it was that good and creepy. |

Finally finished season 5. I was not expecting THAT was how he dies?! Now curious how he comes back...
I can’t believe Stannis did that to his daughter. I cried.
The thing I’m most confused about is Arya’s eyes? I didn’t understand that scene with the faces and such. That one was kind of weird to me but will read up on it today.
Scene of that walk of atonement was crazy! I feel she’s just going to be more evil now though...
Hopefully finish s6 by the end of next weekend

I can’t even fathom the pressure on everyone’s shoulders that is involved with the show. This show is huge....HUGE. I got goosebumps watching this. I get goosebumps watching nearly everything GOT related. |

When the season is airing, I think I might have to stay away from here, and Facebook. I LOVE to discuss the episodes and you all share so many great observations, but I am so afraid of seeing something that would spoil it for me. I plan to watch as it airs, or at least within a few hours (whatever the HBO Go app lets me do), but I’m so nervous about something coming up a few hours or days before the show airs and it getting out. I know we will lose some well loved characters because that’s how all of this works, but I don’t want to know about it ahead of time.

Haha, yup!! I've had the same picture forever but switched from LadyNymeria to just Nymeria when we jumped from TCF to HIH. Nymeria is Arya's wolf that she chased off in Season 1 after she bit Joffrey's arm. Grey Wind, Robb's wolf, is the one who died after the Red Wedding. oh ok, thank you! Apparently I’m bad with their names. Hm well I’m hoping since you have a username we see more of this wolf then (as in, Arya and wolf reunion). Alright I really need to back out of this thread I really only come to update where I am once in awhile. I can’t wait to catch up and actually read this thread. So a liking spree will eventually be coming from me once I catch up. They had a reunion this last season. |

I was just thinking I like more of the people on the show than I dislike. It’s not always like that. It doesn’t look good. Although since I’m rewatching and I’m at the beginning of season 2, I can’t remember for sure who all I hate in season 7 |
