Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 33w today - due 4/22 Baby is the size of a: durian FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM Team: blueeee Appointments: tomorrow, 3/5 for a sizing US (I'm measuring 36/37w) and a check up Symptoms: constipation, tons of heartburn, lots of movement, all the peeing Milestones: my baby is due next month. holy shizz. Rants/Raves/Vents: I raved about my H's job opportunity on Friday, but this weekend he also: completed refinishing kiddo's dresser/changing table, finished kiddo's artwork, completed the pegboard that's going over his changing table, and yesterday made an entire turkey dinner (granted he makes most of the meals, but yesterday was extra amazing). I won the H jackpot, honestly. QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? True story, when I was a little kid I loved ballet, and when asked I decided to think of the fanciest type of dancing there was. I had recently learned the word "exotic" and thought it was super fan-CAY - so I told my teacher I wanted to be an exotic dancer. I also really wanted to be an astronaut and then in middle school realized I sucked at science. Share any U/S or bump OR BABY (ahem) pics if you'd like: will update tomorrow

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 33+5 / April 12th RCS
Baby is the size of a: spaghetti squash
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Boy
Appointments: Friday
Symptoms: I'm exhausted. So much movement and kicking, I feel like he's doing aerobics in there or something. In the bathroom all the time. Out of breath easily. The usual.
Milestones: Almost 35 weeks! That seems like a big milestone to me. (ETA - I am actually only almost 34 weeks. I'm losing track.)
Rants/Raves/Vents: Our friends put together an awesome beer & diaper party for us this weekend at a local brewery - we are now stocked up on diapers and wipes! H got the carseat, swing and bassinet out of storage and they're all being set up/installed. I ordered blackout curtains and an organizer for his closet. I finally feel like we are starting to check boxes and get ready!
QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? Hahaha this changed often. The ones I remember: teacher, astronaut, marine biologist and crime scene investigator. I am not doing any of those things. Oh well.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 6 days old!
Baby is the size of a: He was 5lb 4oz at our weight check Saturday (up 3oz from leaving hospital 🎉)
Appointments: Tomorrow for another weight check. I have a nurse visit for a BP check this morning.
Milestones: The gain from Saturday was a good milestone! He had lost right at the 10% when we were discharged and wasn't having wet diapers so they told me to supplement with formula at feedings to get more in him but I only had to do that for one day since he started gaining.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Just so in love with him 😍 he's been so nice to us at night, giving 2-3 hour stretches and going right back to sleep so I'm trying to appreciate that as long as we can, haha. E is still so in love with him so that helps. I feel bad having to get on to her more about getting careful/listening but she's been really good about it.
QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? An art teacher, which lolnoway to now, but ironically I married one so maybe I get half a point 😂

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 35+2 / due 4/6
Baby is the size of a: bunch of carrots
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: Green
Appointments: today for u/s and bpp as well as regular checkup
Symptoms: Hips are just killing me, sciatic pain
Milestones: 35 weeks!!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Baby was being so quiet over the weekend, Saturday I was really busy so that wasn't surprising to me but yesterday I hadn't felt anything by 2pm I finally chugged some orange juice and laid down, took a good while but finally started moving but hasn't been super active since at least not like I had been feeling the past few weeks so I will be very happy to see baby toady. I never know how much to panic over these things.
QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? A writer or fashion designer, both kind of make me laugh now because I hate having to do anything creative, it's definitely not a strong point for me.

bex15, sorry baby was being a butthead and not moving for you! I feel the same way - little dude is SO active, when he's quiet I start to freak out. H tries to remind me that baby needs to sleep sometimes. My anxiety says otherwise, H, lol.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 37+4, RCS March 6 Baby is the size of a: Am I at watermelon stage yet? It certainly feels like that FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Blue Appointments: I had a NST and bloodwork this morning. Everything looks great. Symptoms: pelvic pressure, intermittent contractions, so much vaginial dishcharge Milestones: Not sure what to put here. I've made it almost as far as my pregnancy with DD Rants/Raves/Vents: So my csection for last Friday got moved to this Wednesday when DH got sick (gastrointestinal and fever) and then I got a fever too. The good thing is my preeclampsia has stayed asymptomatic and my bloodwork so my OB was cool with moving it to this week. I'm ready to be done but at the same time I'm glad he's had extra time to cook. QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a teacher although it was frowned upon for awhile by some family members. I love staying at home with my kids right now but part of me can't wait to go back to the classroom in a few years. Share any U/S or bump OR BABY (ahem) pics if you'd like: I feel huge.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 38 weeks this week
Baby is the size of a: pomeranian
FTM/STM/TTM/etc:ttm
Team:girl
Appointments: wednesday
Symptoms: pelvic pressure, baby must be on something that is causing random spurts of back pain, feeling tired
Milestone: Belly cast this week. I have done it with both my girls at 38 weeks. I am curious how I will compare in size to their pregnancies. I have done their newborn footprints inside the belly and their birth info but I have been a slacker and just have them stored in a tote from moving. I think we will sand down the outside and let the girls paint their own.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am working on getting last minute stuff together. I assume I will go after 40 weeks like my others but then I am like "what if I don't?". I can't believe it is so close. Anyway, we got the birth area more organized this weekend and the girls made their big sister t-shirts. We got some groceries to have in the freezer for after baby and we will be making and freezing some soups and casseroles this week. We don't have a deep freeze like last time so just keeping it simple. I was also able to get my nursing baskets together and made some padsicles for postpartum.
QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? My earliest memory of what I wanted to be was a pilot.

Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 33+3 but feels like 80+3 / RCS April 12 Baby is the size of a: 6lbs 😳 FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Pink Appointments: growth u/s this morning and follow up OB on Thursday Symptoms: All of them. Hoping my prenatal massage tonight helps my back though. Milestones: survival 😉 Rants/Raves/Vents: Too tired for a rant today, but I’m sure I have plenty. I do know that I should not have read the “Parenting 2 kids” thread on GD. No going back now though. Instead, I ordered a parenting book at 4am. QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a vet, until I discovered it involved a lot of science and not a lot of just playing with puppies all day. In college, I was fascinated by meteorology, but again science. So now I’m in finance. Share any U/S or bump OR BABY (ahem) pics if you'd like: I have maternity photos on Friday and then I’ll get on an actual computer so I can share

I have everything crossed that DD2 will be a fairly chill baby like DD1 was. We had SO much going on during the newborn stage the first time that I just have no idea what to expect.

@bex15 I know you can get them professionally done but my husband and girls will just be doing it. For my first we bought a belly cast kit just at the baby store but for this one and my second I just looked up diy belly casts and bought rolls of plaster cloth from an art store and will cut them up

tapdancer, 3/6 is an awesome date. It's my brother and sister's birthday (they are twins). My mom's hoping I'll go into labor and have my boys on Wednesday. pambee, that picture is absolutely adorable! jacks, I currently have that thread open in a different tab, but haven't bothered to read it yet. I'm feeling screwed going from 1-3 lol. My daughter was an awesome newborn minus a few weeks of the horrible witching hour, but after about a week we figured out her solution was to be worn by H. Weeks pregnant/Due date/How old is baby: 36+2 / scheduled c on 3/19 FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM due with twins Team: double blue Appointments: Had one today for office visit and BPP u/s. Scheduled my last two appointments for next two Mondays. Symptoms: peeing all the time, random contractions, exhausted but also insomnia. Milestones: 36 weeks is huge for twin pregnancies Rants/Raves/Vents: I really really really want my doc to bump my section up to 3/14 or 3/15. H decided (I originally suggested way back when) that the days after they are born while we're still in the hospital, he's going into work to save the PTO for when we're home. He's using half his sick time, so he will have 1 day for c-section, then 4 days with us at home. If my doc would bump it up, he could spend the Sat/Sun in the hospital with me and the boys. QOTD: what did you want to be when you grew up? school speech pathologist. Landed up a teacher, so still in schools, but didn't have it in me to be stuck in college for 6 years straight.

grover I think now if I went back to do anything different from teaching it would be speech pathologist but I'm not sure I could make it through all of the schooling with kids. I hope you can get your date moved.

My doctor’s office just called with my U/S results. I usually have my u/s right before my OB appt, but had to move it around due to scheduling. They said baby has jumped to above 90th percentile and they’ll discuss at my appointment. Soooo now of course I’m trying to figure out what this means and have to wait until Thursday. I wish they hadn’t called.
And then part of me is just like “the technician yesterday was rushing and measured wrong”.

Whelp, looks like I can probably return all the newborn stuff I bought - I had my sizing US today and little guy is an estimated 6.1lbs at 33w1d. Haaaaaaaaahahahahahah my poor vagina. Doctor did let us know that they won't induce for size until 39 weeks, so that's good to know, and I'm going to go basically no carb to see if that changes the rate of his growth. Obviously the caveat is the sizing can be wildly off, but it's good to have a plan anyway.

For those concerned with estimated weights, the day I delivered they told me he was measuring 6lb 12oz on the scan, and he came out 5lb 11oz, a full pound smaller, just 3 hours later haha.
I know you all know that they aren't always accurate, but just wanted to add that.

jacks and @ lemondrop my sizing ultrasound with my daughter was so off. They measured her at 6 something at 25 weeks and she was only 6lbs 8oz at birth so it can be very off.
