Week/fruit/EDD: 15w/avocado (or cinnamon bun, DH's preferred measurement)/August 23
FTM, etc: STM
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green.
Symptoms: low BP, hunger, fatigue, sensitivity to smells, unable to brush tongue without gag reflex going off
Rants: So many, sorry!! Like I said in the Randoms thread. Last night I was worried about not bonding with a male child because I'm so sure that the baby is a girl. DH doesn't seem too worried about it since I love babies and I am bonded with my nephew. I'm just worried that thinking I was having a girl (and kind of wanting to) would mean that I would discount the bond we had in-utero. My BP feels super low this morning. I tried to do yoga and doing that before eating was a mistake. I've had water, pedialyte, cereal, a snack, but I still feel woozy. Maybe I'm also really tired? Related to this, I haven't exercised properly as much as I should and I don't like how I look in any of my clothes. Last pregnancy I was really slim so I wore really fitted clothes. I'm a little more padded this time so they emphasize the curves I don't want (i.e. that my bump has a layer of fat, that I have "love handles"). I have some new loose shirts & maternity jeans are generally my friends but I'm really ready for warmer weather so I can toss on a loose fitting maternity dress, it's pretty much my favourite look.
Raves: I would wear Momzelle's Kate dress every day if I could. I bought it for nursing DD but it's designed with lots of bump room. It's cotton (my fav), 3/4 sleeve so it works most seasons. I really want to buy a second one, but black is the only other option and that seems bland.

Week/fruit/EDD: 18w5d, sweet potato, 7/31
FTM, etc: 4thTM
Appointments: A/S a week from today!
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: none I can think of
Symptoms: I have had a cold all week and it has destroyed my appetite. Nausea is back with a vengeance and it's hard to eat anything.
Rants: Pelvic pressure/general discomfort also started this week as well. AWESOME.
Raves: DD2 turns 3 tomorrow! She wanted to go bowling and wanted a unicorn cake so I am making a rainbow cheesecake and we are taking her bowling tonight.

@kore I'm sorry you are feeling worried about bonding with the new baby. You absolutely will love and bond with your new LO. It may be different than with your first, but it will happen and won't be less.

elodin: I know I will. I think maybe you're right that it's STM nerves. I was never one who doubted loving my second as much as my first and reading your response made me realize that I'm worrying about loving a boy differently, not just about my mom instinct being wrong about the sex. Also misread your post and thought you already had a RCS date!

Also misread your post and thought you already had a RCS date! I definitely had a different experience with my second. But in a good way. A lot less anxiety in general, less intense emotions. He has also been all about Mom since his first breath on Earth so I never stood a chance 😂.

Week/fruit/EDD: 15w / avocado / Aug 26
FTM, etc: 3TM of all boys
Appointments: I have one in about 2 weeks.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Blue
Milestones: Finally got my NIPT results in and babe is healthy
Symptoms: not as tired, but starving
Rants: I had a feeling that #3 would be another boy, but there still is that bit of gender disappointment that I will never have my girl. The thought of having to pick yet another boy name is daunting - the hardest part - girl names are so much easier for me!
Raves: Baby is HEALTHY!!! I am so so thankful that the third time taking the NIPT yielded results, finally, and I am proud that I advocated for myself to make the doctors office test with a different lab. I was not so forceful the second time around even though I had a feeling it would have no results.
