I have not explored all third row SUVs, but from the few I have seen, I was impressed with the explorer the most. Great trunk space even with the third row in use and decent price point on low mileage used ones.

My explorer has a trunk like a mini van. In sinks down when the 3rd row is up. So I could probably stand 2 large suitcases side by side there no problem.

My mil had the boys asleep when I got home. But Jack's pull up had leaked so she changed him and put down a towel since she didn't know where our sheets were. So I stole A's side of the bed to avoid sleeping on a towel. He came home later because they started another tournament. And some of the players were to drunk for me to deal with so I came home. He got home at 2 and I woke up to him squeezed in on his side too. I moved to my side at like 5 when jack fell out of bed. So I slept in once A got up with them at 7. I'm still exhausted though.

Morning! DH and I had a great date night and took the kids to the gym and then grabbed donuts on our way home (as you do). They didn't need the sugar, they've been nuts all weekend, but oh well.

No big plans for the rest of the day. I may login to work for a bit while Chase naps. First drafts of our presentations for our conference (in May) are due this week and I'll be on-site with 2 of our partners later this week. It's supposed to snow overnight but I really want to get into the office tomorrow, I want to be as available and visible as possible now that everyone knows about M leaving.

Thanks, everybody. Knock on all the wood but the vomiting seems to have ceased, at least temporarily. C and I went to the store for provisions; B has perked up and is drinking gatorade and eating saltines, and wanting a popsicle. So I'll take those as good signs. DH is still staying close to the bathroom but at least is sitting up and I think his fever has dropped a bit. Hoping this is just a 12 or 24 hour bug.

I'm going to go pick up the cookie cake in a bit, lol--guess we will save that for tomorrow!

Can someone explain how a 7 seater vehicle works with 3 kids? We rented a Durango in CA and it seemed like it'd be impossible to use the 3rd row, either getting in the back and/or using the trunk at the same time. We are not jazzed about a minivan, so would prefer to go ascent/pilot if we HAVE to upgrade.

The Chicco keyfit is the slimmest bucket seat. I don’t know doino well, but do either of those seats convert to a high back and no back booster? If not then I wouldn’t get the radian, I would get a graco tranzitions.

My aunt was here this weekend so we were busy/had fun.

Tomorrow I’m starting training to teach survival swimming to kids. I’ve been thinking about it for a long long time but it’s finally worked out where I can do it. Letty will be starting preschool where Gunner goes so that will be my childcare. So we are now planning to build a pool 💸💸💸 😬

That’s really all that’s been happening in my world.

Typical Sunday morning here, I kicked my family out so I could clean the house and i’ve got laundry going.

I emptied B’s desk this morning, wiped it all down, threw out a bunch of stuff and put everything back neatly. B came in and proclaimed ‘Mom, it looks so good. you’re the best cleaner ever!’

Diono does convert to a booster and goes up to 120lbs or something ridiculous and has a 10 year expiration. And def going with a Chicco bucket seat...our old one expired, but I am hoping my cousin who just got a new one will lend me hers since she has all my other baby gear right now.

I picked up a used diono for $50 for the spare car, but if course j now claims it's the most comfortable, so he wants it..I may trash our next fit since it's nearing expiration and put N in J's old one. I'm tempted to FF her, but I think I'll hold off for a few more months.

sands42 That's exciting! From my experience in FL, the ISR/similar teachers stayed booked up months out and it was very difficult to get in with them. So many pools/water in FL, there's a huge need. I think that is a great investment in *you* and you'll probably do very well with it. Good luck!

RE: our little sick ward, I spoke too soon; I got everyone to sleep and went out to pick up the cake, and came back to find B had woken up and thrown up on the playroom carpet (couldn't make it to the bathroom). I'm kicking myself for not leaving a bucket for him JIC. Oh well. So we're back at square 1 for him.

On a selfish note, I was really looking forward to having everyone out of the house tomorrow...looks like that isn't going to happen!

I can't believe it's only 1:00. I'm so over it and just want to go home. I've been researching fun things to do with the kids tomorrow. Cass doesn't have school due to conferences. I think after her conference I'll pick up Maddie from school and let her ditch the rest of the day and maybe go to Dave and Buster's.
