We have gymnastics this morning, and then I’ll take the kids to Home Depot and to grab lunch. I want to pick up paint so I can start sanding the furniture tonight, and maybe paint a little this weekend! I’m going to start a thread with pictures. Please help!

Morning! We got freezing rain and ice overnight so School is canceled and I can’t decide if I should take the day off or WFH. I kinda just want to take the day. That way I can fully be a lazy bum.

Both kids have school today; I have a hair appt at 10 (just a cut) and then will head to either Dillard’s or my nail place for a manicure, haven’t decided.

Morning. Have a meeting on campus so dropped the kids and heading to get a latte before the meeting. I took my open book final exam last night, eesh, thankfully it's only worth 10% of the grade...and I have a high A for the part that's 50%. Apparently I'm quite rusty in the test taking department 😬.

Good morning! Each morning the kids come in to our bed for a cuddle. Usually after five minutes the kids starts to kill us or each other by tumbling pushing etc. This morning ds was still asleep and dd was adorable, talkative and cuddle, the house was quite, sunshine peaked through the curtains. It was nice.
I’m so done at work. I’m still congested, but feeling a little better than yesterday. Drinks and cheese tonight.

That way I can fully be a lazy bum. base is essential only today and schools were cancelled. We were supposed to be north of the freezing rain line but it made it just far enough. Daycare stayed open though so I left for work late. I could not stay home today with the child! |

Good morning. C is napping and everyone else is at school. DH is WFH and we just had a great chat about beach houses and pros and cons of different things. I’m excited for a few places we are seeing this weekend. I’m meeting my former co-teacher who retired at the end of last year for lunch today. She was always a great sounding board so I’m really looking forward to it. Later is an eye doctor appointment for DD and a game for DS.
I got a few of our good friends together and got a reservation for dinner for DH’s Birthday. Now I need to figure out a gift.
My sister’s and I also are excepting a text today or tomorrow that my dad is back home, his housing situation ends tomorrow and my mom has been pretty quiet with us.

I'm waiting to get a pedicure. Then taking my wedding ring to get sized. I need to stop in and finalize the order for our bed and couch. And sign the extension papers for our construction loan. Lots of boring stuff so pedicure is needed.

I’m thinking that X’s sinus infection never quite cleared up with his last round of Supra’s, so looks like I’ll be calling to see if they can have us back for Rocephin injections. My poor little guy.
Other than that, just the usual. Dropping the heathens at school, work, and trying and failing to keep up with household chores.
I keep telling Pete he needs to find a girlfriend who is willing to help out around here. He refuses.

Then after I had S, my hands seemed to have stayed larger. So I sized up after about 8 months PP. but then they seemed to go back to normal a few months later and my ring was too big. Pregnancy does crazy things to the body. |

Morning! I’m laying around and trying to avoid my kids touching me because I got a spray tan this morning and it’s setting. Im headed to Vegas tomorrow with four girlfriends for a bachelorette part for the bedding I’m in on April. It should be fun, although I feel a little old for Vegas and wish we could have done Mexico or Napa or something. But oh well, I’m going to drink a lot and seep through the night for the first time in over a year, so it’s a win! cagoldi we’re doing a stripper pole fitness class and you were the first person I thought of! It seems like something you’d be into. |

mwhip, agreed. The ending of Dexter sucked. I couldn't stand his girlfriend. Apparently that actress is really good at playing a bitch because she's also Serena on The Handmaid's Tale. tallb I hate test-taking as well. Good for you on rocking an A average for the rest of the class cagoldi poor little guy. I hope you and your brood all feel better soon.

Ugh...I work this weekend. I don't want to deal with adulting anymore.
It was just me and this middle-school aged kid in TKD last night. I practiced one of my moves and scared the shit out of him when I was close to kicking his face. I had control and assured him I wouldn't kick him. It was still kind of fun though. I'm evil. *shrugs*

Not much going on for me today at work. I’m just trying to think about some questions I have for the realtor today. She and MH are going look at a few houses and are supposed to FaceTime me. It’s later this afternoon. I hope there is a winner in there somewhere.
Question for you girls- do you have hazard insurance included with homeowners? Looking at some paperwork the mortgage lender gave me and I saw that he has it included with the mortgage payment, but he said it was optional.
This buying a house crap is not my cup of tea. Too much adulting. Renting is so much easier... at the moment I don’t have the brain capacity to take in all the info that comes along with this. Between work and the kids at night, my brain is fried.

But you will usually pay it as part of the escrow/mortgage payments along with property (house) tax as 1 payment. not sure if that was your question. but definitely ask the realtor and the mortgage company for clarifications. Some insurances in our area only require flood insurance if you are in a flood plane (there is a map defining this). We also have mine subsidance coverage because we are close to old underground mine networks. |

But I do like the idea of traveling there because it does seem like a getaway with the hotels there and the fancy drinks. Yeah when he was explaining what our monthly would be, he had hazard in there and said it was optional but he recommends we get it and all his family has it for their mortgage. I googled to understand more about it and it said it’s usually covered under homeowner’s insurance, but my paperwork has it as a different payment than HOI. Just trying to figure it all out before it comes time to make offers and what not. |

Hair and nails are done, I no longer look like a spaniel in need of a pedicure. I had just enough time to grab CFA before school pick-up so I got to eat hot food in the silence of my car 🙌🏻🙌🏻
DH has a sailor flying in tonight so his command is taking a contingent to the airport to welcome him, and I think B’s going to go with. He is super excited.
