Age: almost 4
Milestones:
Challenges: he starts speech therapy on Monday we meet with the school district to have him screened to see if there’s any other route we can or need to go. At this time they are treating his issues as behavioral. I have a meeting with his teacher tomorrow that I am dreading, but needs to happen. I’m close to changing pediatricians and worked up about last week. We’ve never changed one before for any other reason than we moved out of an area.
Funny/cute stories:
How are you? Meh, everything is going well for me outside of the issue with his preschool. Lort help us get through this school year.
Anything else?
QOTW: What is the best thing for your little one about where you live? It’s a smaller community so even though he goes to programs with different associations we are often running into the same peers.

Age: 28 months
Milestones: peeing on the potty, she is doing so well, but refuses to try wearing underwear or pull ups. It's still early so I am not in any rush
Challenges: her not listening, saying no and not doing what we ask.
Funny/cute stories: The other night we were driving home and she got all excited and said "I see the moon! There it is, follow us." It was so cute
How are you? So tired between work and life in general planning to take a personal day at work soon.
Anything else? The picky eating is so exhausting.
QOTW: What is the best thing for your little one about where you live? Diversity as well, we are between two major cities, so there is a lot to offer especially as she gets older in terms of theater, dance, museums.

Age: 4 Milestones: Nothing new Challenges: Other than his current electronics obsession, he's had a good week. Funny/cute stories: He was talking to an older gentleman this week who reminds me a bit of my dad. He gave DS2 a piece of candy, and DS2 said, "thanks! You're not my grandpa, but you're okay!" How are you? I'm okay. This week has gone much better than I was anticipating. I'm going to spoiler some baby whining below. It seems like we're in a season of new babies as I'm starting to accept that TFAT is just not going to work out for us. My BFF (and fellow loss mom) just made it to second tri with what will be her third living child, and I'm so happy for her but sad for myself. I hate these emotions. Anything else? Nope. QOTW: What is the best thing for your little one about where you live? The history and that there is so much to do here. Since I grew up in an area where "history" is about 100 years old (with a few exceptions), going to places like Jamestown feels ancient to me. I was shocked to find how homeschooling friendly it is as well.

Age: 8.5 months
Milestones: Nothing new
Challenges: He's decided that rolling all over the bed in the middle of the night is amazingly fun. Unfortunately, that wakes up mom and dad!
Funny/cute stories: He's started smacking his lips lately. I think he's practicing giving kisses, because he's been "kissing" me and dad quite a bit lol
How are you? I'm good, a little anxious about a dinner party I'm hosting this weekend but not bad. I also signed up for a craft fair for April so I'm getting my usual stomach butterflies from that
Anything else?
QOTW: What is the best thing for your little one about where you live? Oh man, I seriously love where we live, especially for raising kids. It's a small city, so we get all of the benefits of city life, including a ton of events, but you drive like 10 minutes outside of town and it's COUNTRY. Like, open pastures, expansive forests, the whole shebang. Also, we live in the only officially bilingual province.
