We still have 2 weeks to go / 3 weeks until his appointment, but I can't believe our babies are going to be starting to hit half a year!!

6-9 mo clothes, size 4 diapers
3. What does your 6 month old like? Dislike?
Likes: eating, playing, socializing, books
Dislikes: struggling with teething, no teeth yet.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW?
He’s thriving and a very happy baby. He’s going to go in a pool for the first time coming up.

2. What size clothes is your 6 month old wearing? What size diapers? 6-9 mo clothes, size 4 diapers I'm happy to read this. I've been considering sizing up on diapers because the Size 3's seem to low above his butt most of the time but it was feeling crazy to have my not even 6 month old in Size 4's when my toddler is in Size 5's. I bought a box of Size 3 and a box of Size 4 at Target over the weekend and I was thinking this morning I should return the 3's for 4's. |

We still have 2 weeks to go / 3 weeks until his appointment, but I can't believe our babies are going to be starting to hit half a year!! I absolutely cannot believe this either 😭 I was pretty emotional over 5 months. I imagine 6 months is going to hit me even harder. |

I'm happy to read this. Yes we were having too many blow outs in the 3s. 4s= way less laundry and impromptu baths. my string bean 2.5 year old is still in 4s (when she wears diapers) haha. I'm thinking dd2 will quickly be sharing the same size! My DS can still wear a 4 too if he needs one for a nap! |

Loves bath time and swimming, dislikes mom leaving the room
4. Anything else you'd like to AW?
We should have a surgery date soon. Even though he has the heart stuff going on he is reaching all milestones as he should.

Did the pedi have any suggestions? Is this common with his heart condition? I'm so glad to hear he is hitting all his milestones though! It’s from his heart defect, it causes his lungs to work overtime and therefore he burns more calories. Most babies with his defect stop gaining at some point and that is usually when they decide to do surgery. |

1. What are your 6 months stats/measurements? 16 pounds (42%), 26 inches (43%) 2. What size clothes is your 6 month old wearing? What size diapers? 9 month clothes, even some 12 month clothes seem to fit ok. DD has a super long torso so onesies always are short on her. Size 3 diapers. 3. What does your 6 month old like? Dislike? Likes: her bouncer, napping, baths, playing peek-a-boo, watching older sister, eating Dislikes: bottles/sippy cups, when I leave the room, sleeping at night lately 4. Anything else you'd like to AW? It's really hard to not compare dd2 to dd1. Dd1 was ahead in pretty much everything and dd2 is not. The pediatrician reassured me she's right where she should be though 😊 Edited to add dd's six month photo  |

1. What are your 6 months stats/measurements? 17 lb 13.5 oz (53%) and 26.25 in (27%) - slight drop on weight % and plummeted on height % but his dr wasn't concerned. His measurements say he only grew half an inch since his 4 month appointment which I have a hard time believing due to 6M clothes getting too short and having to move up to 9M. The nurse double checked her measurement today though so IDK what's up. But dr wasn't concerned so I'm trying not to be too. Maybe I'll pull out a tape measure at home some day.

I propped big brother's walker toy against a table and my foot the other day so the wheels couldn't roll and DS2 managed to stand holding on to it for a few seconds. I was shocked and he was so proud of himself. No picture though so I could be ready to catch him when he fell over.

2. What size clothes is your 6 month old wearing? What size diapers? She’s solidly in 6 months now and in size 3 diapers
3. What does your 6 month old like? Cuddling, her sister, her baby doll
Dislike? Not being able to see someone, sleeping through the night 50% of the time.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW?
She starting to get some personality. It’s super cute.

1. What are your 6 months stats/measurements? Will have to update when he has his 6 month appt on May 9! I think he’s around 15 lbs according to the not very accurate stepping on and off the scale I did the other day. 2. What size clothes is your 6 month old wearing? What size diapers? Size 6 months (and still fits 3-6 Months if he’s not wearing a cloth diaper). Just switched to size 3 diapers this past week 3. What does your 6 month old like? Dislike? Caleb loves eating food and thinks his sister is the funniest thing ever. He loves playing in his exersaucer and rolling around on the floor. He dislikes holding still for diaper changes and when his rolling is thwarted by furniture. 4. Anything else you'd like to AW? He is seriously the happiest, chilliest baby and a total social butterfly. I finally think we've gotten over the hump with his sleep, he's been up only once for most nights this week and seems to be sleeping soundly. Not loving him waking up ten minutes before my alarm, but I'll take that over 3+ wakeups overnight.  |

Walmart pants are too tight though in 12mo. Disposable diapers are a 4. 3. What does your 6 month old like? Dislike? Likes sitting up by himself, being held or worn and baths. Dislikes having to get dressed or changed. 4. Anything else you'd like to AW? He's really working on crawling. Constantly moving but not quite hands and knees moving at same time. Literally any minute. AW him on the move in his funny new diaper cover. And a picture of him busting out of a 9month outfit. Lol!   |

Oops! New posts in here made me realize that I never posted DD's 6 mo stats. I typed them up in another app and never copied them in here. She's seven months now, but here's her six month info a little late 😄
1. What are your 6 months stats/measurements? 17 lbs (66%), 26.5 inches (75%)
2. What size clothes is your 6 month old wearing? What size diapers? Some 6 month, some 9 month. Size 3 diapers during the day. Had to start using 4s at night recently, but I think I need to get actual overnight diapers cause she leaked out of one.
3. What does your 6 month old like? Dislike? Likes - being held and carried around, sitting up, being held up in standing position, big brother, tickles, the exersaucer, toys - particularly banging and throwing them lately.
Dislikes - being put down for longer than a few minutes (if that.....), sleeping for more than 3 hours at a time overnight, being held by any one other than Mom or Dad.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW? She and DS were exactly the same length and head size at 6 months, but she's a little over two pounds heavier!

15 lbs (6th percentile), 27 inches(35th percentile). He's a peanut, but he's hitting all his milestones so the doctor isn't concerned.

He loves food. Everything we have tried has been a hit except avocado. He also loves his brother and being held. He dislikes sleeping.
4. Anything else you'd like to AW? I think he's keeping the bright blue eyes, which I love. Between the super light brown hair, bright blue eyes and being a tiny peanut, I think I need a maternity test 😄

My weight estimate was right on! 15 lbs, which is 5th percentile and 26 inches, 14th percentile for height. Still a little guy, but hitting/exceeding milestones and Dr says he's doing great.
