My cousin that lives with my grandma is due with her 4th. Her hospital and OB filed bankruptcy and closed abruptly 6 weeks ago. Shes done nothing to find a new one. Shes had 3 previous c sections and is just going to show up at a hospital tonight and demand one... Seems like a solid plan 🙄

But I don't think it's that big of a deal to not find a replacement with 6wks left. I think it’s important to have an OB, especially the last trimester as that’s when things can go wrong quickly. At 6 weeks is when you start having weekly appointments. She does not sound very responsible at all.

chrisy01 that is terrible! I get that funding is an issue, but that just seems like very poor planning on their part.

cagoldi Greece will be a blast! When is it? kim22 good luck with the house search June 8th - June 22nd. We’re arriving in Athens then going down to the island. I think we are doing 8 days on the north side of the island then the last six in the south, IIRC. We’ve got a hospital tour, shadowing a physiologist, farm and honey house tours, hot springs, hiking, lectures, interviewing locals, and a cooking class. It’s for Social Determinants of Health so we are supposed to see how the laid-back, active lifestyle and Mediterranean diet contribute to having so many centenarians.
