Hi!
THE SUN IS OUT! Yes, this deserves all caps. I keep finding myself feeling blinded, I'd almost forgotten what it looks like!
I had MOPS this morning and we had a sleep/behavior coach come talk to us (I left the highlights in the nap thread). After our meeting I ran to the grocery store for a few things and then scooped up the kids from school. Both kids are having some quiet time at the moment and I'm going to make myself lunch.

nam2013 Yes, please post pics once the flowers start blooming there! We have a dogwood tree and some azaleas in our front yard that are beautiful bloomers, but no bulb flowers. I wish I'd planted some b/c they do grow here, but being from FL where they don't do well, I'm not in the habit of thinking about it until too late. lfig Hope S is feeling better soon! dapostrophe T&Ps for surviving the invasion tonight! kim22 Sorry the house didn't work out, hopefully this means something even better is on the horizon.

Hi hi - had my 10 week blood draw, I'm advanced maternal age now, so I get all the fancy tests for free, woohoo? She couldn't get the first arm and thankfully she did well on the second bc she knew I was a nervous Nelly. From my last time, they had put the name of my favorite blood drawer on my chart bc I had some bad ones.. unfortunately she has since left. Otherwise I'm enjoying the sun with flamingo, please stay awhile! And warm up! |

So fun! Share some pics with me when they start coming up! I will  . It is so normal to me, I often forget this is something people find special ☺️. There’s a tulip festival in a town nearby that I’ve never been to later this spring and I’m definitely going to make the trip. That’s not till middle of May though. |

I had some time in between appointments and couldn’t do a last minute appointment for botox so I headed to IKEA to check out their mattresses for J, specifically the latex one that they carry. It seems good but not as thick as i was looking for, so I’ve got to research and check out a couple other stores. Of course it’s not easy, grrrrr.

That's awesome cagoldi! What did Pete say? He’s on his way home now, so I told you girls first. Knowing him, he will just start going into planning mode. It sounds like he is going to take one week off so it’s not too hectic around here, and then ask my mom to help wrangle the kids the other week. |

My cousin that lives with my grandma is due with her 4th. Her hospital and OB filed bankruptcy and closed abruptly 6 weeks ago. Shes done nothing to find a new one. Shes had 3 previous c sections and is just going to show up at a hospital tonight and demand one...

so long story short, this weekend i learned that SD doesn't get to participate in the group marriage project in her HS psych class because there aren't enough boys to be paired with all the girls. So she (and other females) was going to have to do the project solo because "not all people get married". I told her to "rise up" and not be treated less than the males and that she should get to participate in the same activities regardless of her sex. I mentioned I would send an email to the teacher but she said she is going to talk to him first. Pretty proud of her for speaking up!
Talked to her after school and the teacher was not on board but told her to speak with the principal. She is going to talk to him tomorrow and wants to do it by herself but if he doesn't listen to her then she wants parents to speak up. Once it was pointed out she realized how ridiculous the whole situation was as well as her mom and bff so it sounds like all the women have the same voice. But the men will see as some liberal activists instead of someone wanting to be treated equal

Shes barely had any prenatal care, doesnt have her medical records showing she needs a c section and in 3 previous kids has never gone into labor. I'm assuming they'll just turn her away but she running out of time. Her due date is the 28th. |

One time when they did the project one of the students was pregnant in real life and she happened to draw the miscarriage scenario. Yes that was poor decision making on the teachers part but also gives an idea about the quality of the town. You know it's ok to get knocked up young and be a drug addict (not same person) but not gay |

Sunny41 it kind of reminds me of my school. They got new science books but only part of them arrived. So instead of using the old books until they rest arrived. We had to share books. The person I shared with was a 20 minute drive away (I lived in the middle of farm land). He decided the needed the book longer so I had to use encyclopedias to do the homework because we didn’t have internet and my parents were not home to help. I was in middle school. I got a B on the assignment and my mom called the school and demanded I get an A since I hadn’t even seen the book yet. FYI some of the town kids didn’t have to share. Schools make really odd choices. It was ok for me to play a males role in the school musical but not ok for Jason to play a girls role in the school play. 🤷♀️
