For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? 4. Did you ever come close to quitting BFing? What made you resolve to keep going? Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? GTKY: What personality trait do you envy in others?

1. How old is your LO? 16 months 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3-5 times, nursing before nap and bed are his longest. I will stop him after 10-15 minutes in the motn now. 3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? Not really. He's down to nursing off one side only. I'm pretty sure lefty has dried up 🤷 I'm happy to keep going as long as it's working for both of us. 4. Did you ever come close to quitting BFing? What made you resolve to keep going? hmmmm he had a bad nursing strike when he was 13 months old right when I was getting my first postpartum period. He was also teething bad and bit me around the same time. I really wanted to get him through cold and flu season. And I'm stubborn. Self expressing helped relieve a bit and I caught him when he'd get sleepy.
GTKY: What personality trait do you envy in others? Sometimes I envy those who are more extroverted than me. Just being comfortable talking to whomever wherever lol.

1. How old is your LO? -17 mo
2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? -2-3x/day
3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? -Nope
4. Did you ever come close to quitting BFing? What made you resolve to keep going? -During the very early days of the tongue tie and the nipple shield. There was a mom from my BMB who told me that it's ok to quit, just don't do it on your worst day. I also had tremendous support from DH, who hated seeing us struggle.
GTKY: What personality trait do you envy in others? -Patience. Especially moms with what seems like extreme patience. I have never been that person.
