I got a bad headache last night and was up most of the night with it. It’s still here but better. I called out of work though and plan to lie around in the dark most of the day. C is also still asleep, which is crazy since it’s almost 7 and he’s usually up at 5. Hopefully he’s just tired after his weekend away and not sick as well.

Hi, all! I hope everything goes well today, trtlcrzy! Yikes! That's no good, wedding! The the oldest three all go in separate directions over the course of the next hour, and my hubs said he'd do all the running so I can lounge in bed. I so married up.  But I've just been wiped the last week or so, and he'd probably like me at least semi functioning this evening instead of dozing off immediately after dinner. On Saturday we got annual passes to the Sea Life aquarium near us, and we've already been twice. The girls are obsessed. And I like that they're a conservation organization. But yes; if they had mermaids, we'd have to move in. Nothing much else to report; intake appointment this morning at my OB's office. So, questioning for an hour or so. Hair appointment after that. Have a great day! |

Morning!
B has school today (can I get an Amen? That child needs to be busy). My parents are due in Thursday for the weekend so I need to start getting things in order. The guest room has clean sheets on but I still have some leftover holiday/miscellaneous junk in there that needs to be put away.

Thanks for all the well wishes yesterday, we seemed to have turned the corner. Mh took N to school and I'm home with j. He only puked once at noon, so not out of the window yet. I think I'm on the mend, just weak from eating a banana and a slice of toast yesterday. Of course it is going to snow tomorrow, so we will probably be home again then...

Boys and I slept in again but lord. Both woke up grouchy and are being hateful to each other. Cant wait for them to go to the sitters tomorrow. M has a dentist appointment today and swim lessons. I have laundry to finish and some work to do.

Morning Ladies! Yesterday's trip the aquarium was a blast. Somehow we ended up with front row seats to the sea life show, even after skating in at the last minute. I love being close to the city and still being able to experience it, but man if everything doesn't take forever. Parking, eating, going to the bathroom, anything you want to do everyone else is doing too. I've gotten soft in the suburbs.
In another perk of the 'burbs, I got invited to #livemybestlife by some influencer via a new Meetup group designed to "brainwash you into Believing in yourself and finally knowing that YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH." For only $200 I can tour her boudoir photography studio, have drinks and apps with her, and pick her brain for business tips. Just need to save up my $200...can't wait to join the #sparkletribe.

NN is out today. Came in in a great mood thinking I would have the office to myself. But wait...why is the light on? Why is her computer on? Is that her phone and coffee on the desk?....No. It's the office manager. Apparently, her computer is broken and thus, rooming with me today. Seriously? Can't I just get some alone time SOMEWHERE???!!!?

We’re all checked in, just waiting to talk to the doctor. The nurse that did her intake is the same nurse I had when she was born. She was our nurse the first time S got tubes too. H isn’t crabby about being hungry yet, so that’s good.

M didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I finally persuaded her to let me turn the light on so we could get her dressed. When I turned around to get her leggings from the dresser it was like a scene from a horror film. There was blood all over her face, hands, nightgown, sheets...everywhere. I was trying not to freak her out but it was horrible looking.

wedding I hope your headache goes away and you get some rest today! Good luck to H today trtlcrzy! nam2013 I wish that was the worst thing I have said to my kid! Glad the sickness seems to be leaving your house tallb! Did your H manage to not catch it? The plague continues in my house. H said he felt better yesterday afternoon, finally ate dinner, but it didn't set well, although we both thought he just ate too much since he hadn't eaten for 3 days. He got up this morning to drive to Illinois for work, returned home after I left to to hot flashes and not really feeling better. It would be a LONG drive if you were worried about diarrhea the entire time! We are expecting another snow storm today, they're saying the snow will start around 4 and it will snow til midnight, predicting 3-6". I doubt I'll be working tomorrow. Which means all 3 of us will be home tomorrow. God help us all.
