C just barfed a bunch. I'm hoping that it's a one time thing (apparently she does that), but ugh. At least tomorrow isn't a DC day anyway, but I can't imagine handling M plus a barfing baby all day. Plus she barfed on me. So if this is noro, I'm done. Awesome... brandiewine11, how did R fare with his bff barfing? Did y'all survive? I'm cautiously optimistic that we escaped. Thank goodness.

I'm thinking of you, Brandie! Hoping this week brings you comfortable temps as you await your small monster.

I read the title of this thread and the first thing I think about is Ursula singing Poor Unfortunate Souls.

I have a fever and my husband just left for a conference and will be gone two nights. I'm praying that the baby doesn't get whatever I have...

It's unfortunate that I backed out of the garage in J's car and scraped up the bumper and wheel well. Argh.

It's unfortunate that the manager of the Inn I do marketing for cannot figure out the difference between urgent situations that require texting at 6am vs. situations where email will do just fine.

It's also unfortunate that somehow my MIL finds a way to make sure I know when she is "taking a dump" every single day. I don't need to know.
She also uses the term "do poo" in reference to R's poop. Daily. "Do you need to do poo?" "Go do poo."
For some reason I cannot stand either phrase or reference.

That out water heater thermostat went out yesterday morning. $228 later, it's working again, but eek! with the price point of a good plumber!

It's not like she's directly informing me but somehow I find out. Like instead of telling R that she's going to the bathroom and will be right back, she informs him of what will happen there. Or today she told me what the dog did while she was in there. But again, too much detail. A simple "I was in the bathroom " is all That may be necessary. Seriously.

That I have to work so much. Parenting is much more enjoyable when there are 2 of us to manage the kids.

It's unfortunate that my hip still isn't healed.
It's unfortunate that I'm not smart enough to refrain from demonstrating a cartwheel for my daughter when I'm injured.
It's unfortunate that I'm out of town and away from my physical therapist.

It is unfortunate that my kids are not on the same page regarding the switch to milk in a sippy cup.

Bottles have long since been thrown on the floor.

Dealing with mobile is not worth it to me. I am doing a quick peruse on desktop a few times a day as I can but tapatalk is the only way I really enjoy using the forums.
On the bright side, I feel like I was a lot more productive yesterday without being on here so much.

It's unfortunate that it's been almost 2 weeks since I lost my car keys and they are still nowhere to be found.

It's unfortunate that it's been almost 2 weeks since I lost my car keys and they are still nowhere to be found. Blame the kids. M hid my keys IN HER CLASSROOM this morning and luckily I saw her at the last second or I would have been cursing myself in the parking lot trying to find them (I often leave them in the car while I run in)

M hid my keys IN HER CLASSROOM this morning and luckily I saw her at the last second or I would have been cursing myself in the parking lot trying to find them (I often leave them in the car while I run in) When we were last in California I handed M the keys to hold onto while we loaded everything for our day out into the rental car. I finished up and then turned to her for the keys. That she didn't have. I asked her where they were and she pointed to the trunk. The locked trunk. 1 hour, 1 very determined locksmith and LOTS of googling got us into the trunk to fish out the keys. It was good times.

It's unfortunate that I have to take both kids with me to the vet today. Let's just go full throttle Milano, this week was the first time you've taken the kids alone anywhere and now you're going to take both kids and a feisty puggle it in public. Very smart.
