Hello! The kids were super excited about Valentine's day this morning. The big two got some valentines pez and A got yogurt melts (he's obsessed). Of course my in-laws came over to watch them and they went on and on about how dad got them the coolest pez! Uh, guys.... mom took care of that, give the credit where the credit is due!

We had gymnastics this morning; I took pics of the kids in their pinks and reds. We’ll do presents when mh gets home, but we did leave out a set of dominoes for them both to find this morning when they woke up, they loved it. It has so many great ways for them to play. I highly recommend!
I also have fulfilled my quota of hearts for the day: Pink heart pancakes, heart tortilla sandwiches, heart fruit and cucumber & Valentine’s Day cake pops from Starbucks.
The heart shaped pizza is scheduled for a 430 pick up (I’m more excited about the beet carpaccio and limoncello cake)

H had flowers sent to my work, tulips and irises, I believe, they aren't open yet. As well as a teddy bear and chocolate. I did pick up some yummy cupcakes on my lunch, so that's something.
I like the idea of lingerie and I own a few sexy chemises. But I never wear them because it seems like a lot of effort for something that is just going to end up on the floor since I wouldn't sleep all night in them. And by 'sexy' I mean more sexy than my pj pants and tank top.

The kids are going away with my parents for the weekend and had been looking forward to it all week. Until an hour ago that is. Ds has gone in complete meltdown that he’s going to miss me so much. It is more than an hour passed his normal bedtime he’s a crying tired mess. He has never done this 😕.

This is the first I’ve bought since the kids were born 😳 (beyond bras/underwear, of course). I much prefer my clothing budget go to things I wear on the ‘outside’ that everyone can see! |

I've never been into lingerie. Putting something on just to take it off in a few minutes never seemed like it had much of a point. And I sure as hell wouldn't wear it all day. Just not my thing. I always thought the idea of buying lingerie for the bride-to-be at a bachelorette party was weird.

MH got me a small bouquet of flowers earlier this week. I got him nothing. I'm ok with that though. I buy him stuff when I find something I know he'd like but haven't been inspired lately.

wedding Is there a Senior cat food that you recommend? Both of mine are currently on Royal Canin calorie control but it's time for a switch to senior food. I've heard good things about Hill Science Diet Indoor Age Defying and BLUE for Cats Healthy Aging Mature, or nay that you dont recommend?

I like this new doctor. She told me I should proud of my 2 lb weight loss since December, since Christmas was in there. Ok then!
She feels my cough is likely allergies.
And she has ordered a CT Calcium Scoring for me since heart disease runs on both sides in my family.

Today has been less than super. I started with a meeting with my dad, I haven’t talked to him in almost a month because he’s been cheating on my mom. Right after that I got a message that T got his hand slammed in a door and they wanted me to see his fingers. I had to pick up 350 cupcakes for DD’s school so I got the cupcakes, took T for X-rays (nothing broken thankfully), delivered the cupcakes to DD’s school, and now I’m at DS’s therapy appointment (my sister has the other kids so I’m finally just relaxing). I usually get DH a little something but that didn’t happen with all my extra drama today. I will just tell him I got him a beach house.

I stay away from Blue personally because its expensive and very rich, which would cause GI upset in a lot of our clients. I think Royal Canin has a senior one as well, but I don't remember the info. Make sure to look at the kcals on the bag to make sure you aren't upping their calories too much with the switch. It shouldn't since Senior food is usually lower calorie to make up for less activity. |
