Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): finding out
Milestones: nothing new
Symptoms: tired
Rants: so I just got a call from my OBs office and got the news that my NIPT came back as inconclusive due to low fetal fraction. I’m so frustrated! This didn’t happen my last pregnancy but I did have other issues with the test. So now I go back on Friday for a redraw. My hopes of knowing before valentines are shot. Not that that was important but still frustrating nonetheless. And this is after I had to drive to pick up my husband from a meeting since he was feeling ill and threw up in my car. I can’t handle the smell!

eleanorshellstrop I had hopes of having my results for Xmas. It didn't work out that way and I know when we find out isn't the important thing but I get the frustration. Sorry you won't have them back for Valentine's Day. Also my AS went so well today. Baby was wiggling like crazy and doing the cutest things. To me she looks totally different than DD did though. Even in utero DD was a clone of SO. This LO looks more like me (actually more like my sister). And I found out I have an anterior placenta again...so that explains only feeling shots to the bladder and nothing else.

I stopped offering and if he asked I tried to distract him or offer a little snack. It didn't work everytime at first. He was only nursing in the morning and maybe once or twice during the day and was kind of dropping bedtime nursing on his own so I ran with it. Dropping the morning was the hardest, but now he'll just cuddle in bed with us until we get up and not ask for babas. I felt the same as you. Well, also him nursing was kind of painful. But the thought of tandem nursing personally made my skin crawl. Definitely not for me. And I love nursing my babies.

irish14 I have lost weight with each of my pregnancies. Granted, I am "obese" by my BMI to begin with, but I typically drop 15-20 pounds in the first 16 weeks and then gain it back by the end to be a net zero weight gain. It's never been an issue and my doctors have never been concerned!

sammysam I know when I find out isn't important. I have a worried feeling in the back of my brain that everything isn't ok and not knowing is just making me keep thinking those thoughts. It's hard not to. I just want to know for sure that everything is ok.

irish14 I am down 5lbs which is weird for me. This didn’t happen with my 1st pg. but I started off at a higher weight this time so I am thinking that might be why.

It's hard not to. I just want to know for sure that everything is ok. I completely understand this and I'm sorry the lack of results is making it worse. I would have been freaking out if I had gotten no results as well. Just having mine take 17 days to come back had me convinced something was wrong. I had a few friends who got similar results but everything was great once it was redone. I am sure everything will be great and hopefully you'll get results back quickly with the next draw so that it will help to ease your fears.

irish14 I was down about 15 lbs in first tri...but it is all creeping back on now. I'm up about 1lb now at 20 weeks. With my first I was underweight when I got pregnant and continued to lose through 1st and 2nd tri but I started gaining by 3rd tri when it mattered and at the end the weight came on quickly when needed. The doctors will let you know if they start to think it is becoming a problem. Lucky for us baby will always find a way to take what they need from us!

Thanks for the thoughts and accounts all. I definitely still was hanging on to a few extra from the last baby so maybe this baby just wants to make all her own baby weight, hahaha
