C is in a Dad phase right now and it’s so hard because Dh works a lot. Lately C had been crying about it (and he rarely cries)and it is so sad but there’s not much I can do.

Aw that's a tough one. Ask C what kind of special dad time he wants to make up the time. Maybe a special dinner date or ice cream or prep dinner together (diy pizza). I find if it's his idea it makes a bigger difference than when I impose an activity on them.

Hey! Sorry I wasn’t around much yesterday. I slept in, then went to target and then we just hung out. This morning my boss texted that she had someone call out so I picked up the shift. I’m working till 10. TMI, I don’t know what is going on but I have had the worst, stinkiest farts this week. I need it to stop.

Hi. I just woke from an almost 3 hour nap. Oops! The concert last night was fun but we were up until 2 am which is the latest I’ve been up in forever. We got home around 1 today, the ILs left, H actually went down for a nap easily so I did too. It felt so nice but I know I won’t sleep tonight now.

We’re headed down to where we grew up to have dinner for my not delightful BIL’s birthday. I really want the lamb chops but if no one else is getting anything expensive I will probably just get a couple sides.

I went out with sil and a friend for dinner. It was fun but I was hoping to be out later so I didnt have to deal with pjs and bedtime. But she was taking dinner home to her daughter so we ate early and I was home by 7..

E likes to lay down in the bath and sing. This means his nonsense is louder so he can hear it. He has pretty much babbled nonsense all weekend and I reached my limit by 10am today. I did a long swim workout going it would help but I really just need this phase to pass

I saw! I try to hold out for a 30% though. I'm not sure what I want..mh doesn't like floral and I don't want white.. I think we will end up with a solid Navy or gray, not too exciting. Also, rugs are the hardest for me to buy, I hate how pricey they can be. What kind are you looking at? We don't have a rug under our table, per my SM suggestion. Is it a formal dining room of where you eat all meals?

We went out twice today, but I never made it to the gym. I lost motivation after we made it back in the first time. M2s nap is smack dab in the middle of childcare hours on Sundays. I did get meal prep done during his nap though, so I accomplished something.

You could find a duvet with some interesting detailing like ruffles or pin tuck. Or stripes! It’s probably smart to wait for a better sale.

I’ve been looking at rugs on amazon, the price for them isn’t too bad. It’s our only table, that we eat 90% of our meals at. I hate sweeping and mopping, but don’t mind vacuuming and spot treating.
