Next week at dc each day will have a theme. Monday is "matching day" or "twin day" whatever. So I thought it would be cute if all the girls in Cadence's class wore the same shirt. There are only 4 of them, so no big deal. Well, one of them doesn't come on Mondays, so it was down to 3. Cadence picked a unicorn shirt at Target and I bought 2 extras and put them in their cubbies yesterday with a note explaining why I'm weird and giving them shirts. I specifically said Monday is match day. One of the little girls is wearing it today.  They better wash it over the weekend and have her wear it again on Monday! Cute idea! Maybe the girl already has something else planned for match day? I would hope if that was the case they would return the shirt to you so you could return it back to the store. |

nam2013 X is staying home to rest, Dude and P are at school. I’m ready for Spring and this endless cycle of illness to be over and done with. Preach. Hope you can get a good snuggle from X. He’s giving me all the snuggles, which is very unlike him so I know he’s feeling awful. Yesterday afternoon he just wanted to lie on my stomach from the minute he got home until bath time. He’s still so sweet to Poppy though. Before he left school yesterday he had to go to the baby room to check on her.  |

Evie would take any note off, if she really wanted to wear the shirt, and I may never see it. She's good about giving me notes usually, but some kids might not be. I think it was very sweet of you to buy them all the same shirt! |

We saw the cutest little houses today but we decided to be those assholes with the beach house nicer than their regular house. We asked that all the furniture be added to the deal and we would take their counter (it was only a $5,000 difference). We have a verbal agreement! I now have to go get drunk at the school Tricky Tray and keep my big excited mouth shut.

Hi, all.
I have barely had time to keep up and check in the last couple days. Yesterday was such a good day with B; went to the dentist, no new cavities! Yay, found myself some ski boots, him and I had a lunch date, both of eye appointments were great and we're good for another year. Did all the shopping for Valentines; I got J's all written out and candy attached, and B wrote his name for all the kinder class and teachers, so he just has his kinder OSC to do. Then we all went swimming and it was fun, but the kids were exhausted by the time we were leaving, came home and did two loads of laundry that werent folded and put away until 11pm. I know those days are busier than actual work days.
Up at 5am to work out then had a Mentorship meeting this morning, I'm super excited, she's a kick ass lady, I think it's going to be a great partnership.

I got my hair cut today and the guy told I have new hair growth! My hair has been thinning for 2yrs so I was very happy to hear this news.

MOPS drama...well, not really, just kind of eyeroll worthy.
Our first dinner reservation fell through so the social chair asked for restaurant suggestions for tonight. I was the only person who made suggestions, and a couple people "ditto'ed" mine. A little while later, the social chair replied that she'd made a reservation at X.
The next day, another girl pops in and is like, I made a reservation at Y! Cue everyone: "uh, don't we have a reservation at X"? So she creates a poll and tags all 20 of us--place X still wins.
So just now she posts that her kid has a double EI and she won't be coming. Cue lots of tears and sympathy for her.
EXCEPT. DH overheard her at pick-up today bitching that she hates Place X and won't be coming tonight.
I'm laughing and also kind of wow, are you in middle school??

LOL flamingo. The luxury of having where you eat dinner become such a big issue, sheesh. I’ve got dietary restrictions that would make anyone cry and I can still go literally anywhere for a meal. |

False alarm. The classmate wore a different short sleeve pink shirt with gold writing, not the short sleeved pink shirt with gold unicorn one for Monday.
