Not much on the agenda today.
It’s beautiful here this week and feels like spring might be on the horizon. Of course this weekend the highs plunge back to the 30s so maybe not 😂 But I did buy some tulips for my kitchen yesterday and they are letting me pretend.

Hello! I've been up since 4 with L. I'm home because everything is covered in ice so I took the day off so my in-laws wouldn't need to drive over.

ugh wineallthetime why was L up at 4? Hopefully naps are on the agenda! We were supposed to get ice overnight, which didn't happen and that's fine. They're saying we could get ice up until about 3 today, so who knows what's going to happen. The company is having Chipotle brought in to celebrate a record breaking month, but I brought my lunch, JIC. |

Morning! We made it vomit free yesterday!!! Ds’ energy levels are still a little low, but he’s looking a lot better than two days ago. I’m exhausted, I really hope Dh gets home early, so I can sneak upstairs for a bit and take a bath.
We booked an impromptu getaway yesterday! My parents asked if they could take the kids away for a weekend. The difference between renting this place for a weekend or a week was minimal and the total cost where a joke (€240 for a whole week). To make a long story short, they’re taking the kids up there for a weekend Friday the 15th and we’re heading there on Sunday night and will be staying till Thursday 🎉🎉🎉!

He said his head hurt so I gave him some Tylenol before I left. We are short at work, so since it’s just viral, I got a babysitter for the day. He’ll probably just lounge around watching tv all day like he did last night. Thanks for asking. |

H still looks at zillow for houses, even though we've decided we are staying put for at least another year. He just sent me one and I was super confused...it's way too much space, over our price range and the inside needed some updates. The kitchen legit made my head feel like it might explode and I was super confused. He told me he sent it as a joke. Sending me crappy houses is not a joke!

Morning. I’m a little sore today and I’m not entirely certain why. H has school this morning and I think S and I are going to stop by old navy. It drives me crazy that the mall opens at 10, because then I have to find something to do for an hour after drop off. This afternoon I have the appt with my OB and the girls will be going over to my friend’s house to play with her kids.

He coughed all night long. My MIL is watching him today and he was still asleep when I left. My coworker told me about her 2yo grandson who had the flu over the weekend. They ended up at the children's hospital because they couldn't get his fever under control and couldn't stop coughing. They kept him for the day to give him fluids, bring his temp down and do some breathing treatments. So I got paranoid and asked my MIL to check on him just now since he was still sleeping. It's 103.7. Now I'm wondering if I need to take him to the ER. |

It drives me crazy that the mall opens at 10, because then I have to find something to do for an hour after drop off. The struggle is real. This year our school drops off at 9:30 but previously it was always 9. Sometimes I’d go to my mom’s and have a cup of coffee/attempt to con her into doing errands with me 😂 I hope your appt today goes well ❤️ |

tgrimes I agree with flamingo, I'd call your pedi office and see what they say. He's been on the tamiflu for a few days now, I would expect it, coupled with the over the counter meds, to be more under control at this point. I'd rather be over paranoid, with his age and medical history.

I took Josie to school, and Charlie cried the entire way home because he really wants to go. I wish they had a twos program.

Hi all! So sorry to hear about all the sick kiddos. We've just gotten to the backside of a nasty bug that swept through here during the polar vortex. A week off from school with cranky snotty children. So fun.  The two school age kids are off again today because of an ice storm. We're snuggled in bed watching a mermaid Barbie movie. We were supposed to start fertility treatments in January, but hey hey! We got it done on our own. Baby is due October 1, but we hope to keep it in until mid September. Baby number 4, and we're finally going to find out the sex ahead of time. I'm excited. All the tests have come back looking good, and we have an ultrasound tomorrow. |

I’m not sure if it’s a youngest child thing or what, but for us anyway, C is SO excited about school and would go 7 days/week. B enjoys it but he *thinks* he’d prefer to be at home (but I know he’d go stir-crazy and drive all of us nuts 😂) I think B’s lead teacher this year has something to do with it, too. By all accounts she’s a very good teacher but is not personality plus. She intimidates ME a bit, lol. B says he likes her fine but I really hope we have someone who is a bit more approachable next year. |
