I made an appointment last night for ds, but the nurse assistant contacted us that our physician wanted to see us first thing this morning. Apparently he has an inflamed gastric wall, since he’s so light and weakened it’s taking more time to recover from this. We need to keep him home from school since he’s now very susceptible to all viruses. His weight is concerning, but unfortunately there is not much to be done at this point. I might get a referral to a paediatrician when he’s back to his ‘normal’ weight.
ETA the inflammation needs time to heal. I might take 5 days, it might just be 1. Fingers crossed the worst is behind us.

B has school this morning and I’m not sure what is on my and C’s agenda. I definitely need to vacuum and mop the kitchen floors so that’ll be fun 😬

I’m in compensation mode for ds, I just bought a zookeeper/biologist costume for ds. Carnaval (think Halloween, without the scary stuff & candy) is coming up and he wanted to look like a famous Dutch biologist whose a bit like Steve Irwin.  |

I was really worried that they would want to admit him. I know I have a irrational fear for this, which I have to do something about at some point. I’ve lost my voice due to stress... |

Taking the boys to a trampoline place today to burn energy. I have work to do later while they nap.
We found out this weekend that the project manager on our house (who I hated very very much) just up and quit, or he was fired. He were told 'he has left the company' so who knows. But now things are actually happening! They have the electrician coming out to finish up what we need, once he does that I can schedule the cleaners (because the water pump will be connected) and then we can start putting things in and away. The garage doors and a few other small things still need done and the weather has to cooperate for a week or so so we can get final grade but its looking good!

I get paid every other Tuesday and then the cleaning lady comes on the non payday Tuesday! I'm so jealous you do every other week. I mostly keep it clean in between. |

They opened the online portal for kindergarten registration this morning, so I took a half an hour to fill everything out. I didn’t complete the questionnaire on Josie‘s personality because I’d like MH’s thoughts on it.

Ours opened yesterday as well, only our town stinks and you have to print it out, fill it out, and bring it in between 9-12 sometime over the next 3 weeks. I filled most of it out but I need to figure out what proofs of residency we have. |

I know that many of the other teachers in the district we taught in have taken off the first couple of hours on the first day of school when they have a little one entering kindergarten, and administration understands. But it is nice that he won’t have to deal with that. |

We have to submit a property tax bill...I'm not sure if we even have that yet. I also need to decide if we are applying to the French immersion program that's offered at our school.
