Week/EDD: 22+4, due 6/6
Baby is the size of: a papaya
FTM, Etc: FTM
Team: 💙
Appointments: just the vet this week
Milestones: H was able to feel kicks from the outside this weekend!
Symptoms: back pain, fatigue, still some nausea apparently
Rants: I tried weaning off Bonjesta again (I tried around the 1st of the year too). It went a lot better than last time, and I could probably stay off it if there was a reason I had to. But I felt nauseous again, and the kicks make me feel nauseous, and just overall yucky. So I’m back on. I’d rather feel a little more tired than feel like I have a mild stomach bug.
Raves: we’re putting the crib together tonight! We were planning to do it yesterday, but I felt so yucky that I wasn’t much help. And the Home Depot near us didn’t have one of the varieties of hardware we need in stock, but the one by my work has it. So, we’ll do it tonight!

Milestones: Nothing much
Symptoms: Tired. Emotional.
Rants: It's... not been a good couple of days. Just a lot of shitty stuff going on around us. And DS is sick, poor kid is miserable and can't sleep.

But right now, feel all the feelings...I totally get it!!

Mail order pharmacies irritate me. I was out of refills on my Bonjesta, so my OB faxed in a new prescription on Monday. According to the pharmacy, they never received it. I’ve spent the morning on hold with the pharmacy and the OB office trying to get the right info for my OB to resend the prescription. I just want to continue to not be nauseous, guys! Why is this so hard??

Week/EDD: 19 weeks (7/4/19)
Baby is the size of: a Gameboy or a Zucchini (which to me are very different sizes...)
FTM, Etc: TTM
Team: Green
Appointments: Not this week
Milestones: ?
Symptoms: Tired, acne
Rants: Between the bad weather (which, DH always has to go out in given his job), the kids being sick, and a general lack of sleep - I've found myself pretty anxious lately. I worry about something happening to DH, worrying about the health of the kids and baby, worrying about silly stuff like what if my water breaks while I'm at work - and last night had a nightmare that I got fired from work. I had started taking Lexapro last year but weaned off when I got pregnant. Thinking I might need to bring this up to doc next week but not sure if I can or should take anything while pregnant.
Raves: My SIL offered to throw me a baby shower - which feels weird given that it's our 3rd, but since there will be an almost 10 year age gap and we have nothing, would also be kind of awesome. And my other SIL has offered us a ton of baby gear (she recently had twins and they are done having babies). So, I've had fun working on a list of what we'll need.

It sounds like they got it sorted out, but of course now it’s too late in the afternoon to call the pharmacy again. At least in the meantime my OB gave me a couple sample bottles, so I know I won’t run out.

Today was our ultrasound, which was perfect, and our 24 week appointment, wherein I had high blood pressure.
I really think it was just because I'd jumped out of the car, after a two hour drive and hurried up to the appointment late. Then instead of sitting quietly before they tested me again, I fought my swollen feet back into my boots after they weighed me. So I'm hoping it was just a fluke. They're running extra bloodwork to be sure.

quinstar, hopefully the blood pressure was just from rushing to the appointment! I’ve had that happen before, especially when I have to park downhill from the building.

I had started taking Lexapro last year but weaned off when I got pregnant. Thinking I might need to bring this up to doc next week but not sure if I can or should take anything while pregnant. Hugs , I have regular meds I take but But really don’t want to when pregnant. 100% the plan after breastfeeding to go back on medication. It’s hard right now for me too. I don’t have any advice just hugs. Thank you. I'm sorry you're struggling too but it does help to know I'm not alone. I woke up last night and felt like I couldn't breathe - though in hind sight that might be the nasal congestion - but at the time it felt like panic because I was sure someone had broken into our house (nope).
Two of my sisters and one brother-in-law are having some health issues so emotions were high this weekend. We think we lined up childcare for the baby, which is great - but also makes me sad to think about leaving a baby that's not even born yet and I didn't totally grasp how expensive childcare is so now I have budgeting on my mind. Anyhow, it's just a lot lately and I really need to learn how to do self care. Ironically, it's better when I'm at work and can get away from my desk and take a walk to clear my mind. Maybe I need a treadmill or something at home - or for winter to go away so I can get outside!
