I think the title of this thread is subliminally encouraging me to spend. On that note, does anyone here shop at Boden or Joules (for themselves) and have an idea of how they run? tallb maybe?

slenle why is your DH invested in the outcome of the friendship? Is it a mutual friend or does it affect a larger group in some way? If not, he needs to leave it be.

I haven't purchased from boden for myself yet, but I think they have a neat size finder. Let me know if you like it!

He’s friends with her husband and we share a large circle of friends. We had them over last night for the super bowl, along with 5 other families, and him and I both sensed the awkwardness there. And they both left without saying goodbye... I think it’s just tough because they were our closest friends for a few years before we started drifting (and she started yelling at my kids and being nothing but drama). At the same time, we met another couple who we are now very close with and spend a lot of time with. I’m not sure if it’s worth inviting her for coffee to talk or just letting it be. I want to believe it could be fixed, but she’s a very strong personality who loves to gossip and I just don’t know anymore..

They always have such cute things but I never pull the trigger, but I just got (yet another) catalogue with 20% off so I might order a couple items to see.

I always snag their catalogue and "shop" my boredom away. Side note: breaking your ankle pretty much kills any desire to clothes shop, so money saved??

Women tend to hold onto things much longer than men, but maybe that's why, like he thinks you guys should just be able to move forward, like nothing happened. Where we remember everything and it eats at us. I believe some relationships just run their course. Is it hard to let them go, yes. But at the end of the day, if the relationship is causing more work than it's worth, let it go.

Still at the hospital. Waiting to do lab work and then heading downstairs for an X-ray. He thinks it’s probably cyclic vomiting syndrome. I have to do stool samples over the next couple of days and once they get all of the results he’ll re-evaluate.

I’m sorry that H is still under the weather tgrimes. Hope you all get through the next steps with M soon. Would lab work confirm that?

slenle That’s tough. Maybe Yh can still hang with the husband without it having to be a family affair. See him when the guys get together or whatever.

I’ve purchased a couple of dresses from there and they fit true to size for me. Eta: the clothes are very good quality. The dresses I got are cotton and they are nice and thick, not thin and see through.

tgrimes noooooo! Poor H and you! I hope no one else gets it! And I’m glad you are finally pointed in a direction with M! What is the treatment plan if they decide that it’s CVS? From what I remember when I read up on it a few years ago there wasn’t much to do other than try to pinpoint a trigger and avoid it. But I’m hoping that something can give you guys a break!

My swim workouts are getting tougher but in a good way. Due to the cold I will do 3 days in a row and my muscles aren't ready for it.
I made salmon and grilled peppers and asparagus for dinner. I hate when I don't make enough for everyone to have seconds because it's usually me that gets the smaller amount and then I snack on crap food.

There is an antihistamine we could start giving daily as a preventative measure. It may not prevent it 100% but it could lessen the frequency. Kind of like a migraine medication that you take daily.
