pambee I'm sure you are already doing this but just making sure I stay on top of water intake seems to help too.

Those who are taking something for heartburn, what do you take? My OB gave me a list of okay'd meds but there are like 8 options and I just want the one that works the best 😂 It was happening pretty randomly so I'd been trying to just tough it out but lately it's every night, and yesterday afternoon it popped up and made me throw up out of the blue 🤢 I take one OTC cool mint Zantac around noon and Tums as needed. My midwife also suggested I quit coffee and lay off drinking seltzer and juice. I moved to a much less bitter coffee and I have a single seltzer/ cup of juice a day now. I also gave up a lot of acidic foods for a while, but it didn't do anything to help my heartburn. Omg is seltzer making my heartburn worse?? I drink like 5 gallons of seltzer a day and I am dying of heartburn

Yeah I drink a ton of water every day, over 100oz, and rarely any other drink so I'm good there. I used to be able to tell what foods triggered it but anymore it doesn't matter. Something I ate yesterday and was fine with will make me feel awful today, lol. Fuuun!

For real, sometimes I try NOT to drink bc I am so sick of peeing. Really though, I’m jealous of your hydration.

I took Zantac daily for a while with my last pregnancy it got so bad at night. Spicy foods are my major trigger now. Even very mild spice. It is making H crazy cuz I can test anything for dinner.

I do pee a lot more when I'm pregnant though, obviously lol. If I don't drink that much I feel groggy and blah, but I always have a hospital jug of water with me to drink from.

I do notice when I'm more than minimally hydrated my skin looks fantastic and I'm more energized. But then the kid headbutts my urethra and I almost (sometimes more than almost...) pee myself, so I cut back on how much I'm consuming.

Yes, I've started wearing a panty liner because of those nice head bumps 😑 when I had the cough with my cold I contemplated adult diapers it was so bad.

pambee, I've just been doing Tums but find that a glass of milk can help (my Midwest is showing). I also don't drink water or fizzy water during meals, it seems to make it worse.

I don't typically drink milk unless I'm eating breakfast foods but I might just try it tonight. We went out this morning and I was going to stop by the drug store but it was freezing raining by the time we were heading home so I didn't get to.

pambee That sounds so good! I’ve feeling uninspired with my meal planning for next week, but now I shall be adding that to my list! I’ve doscovered I can eat small amounts of chicken as long as it is shredded and the taste well disguised. I’ve had the longest travel day today. My flight was delayed 1 1/2 hours and now it is snowing here so traffic is a nightmare. I’m literally going to make it to work in time to leave for dinner.

It was so good, I even fully enjoyed the leftovers for lunch and I am not a leftover person, lol. Tonight we had meatball subs which were meh but at least quick and easy. And oof to the long day, hopefully you're home now or at least soon!

I had a dream last night that I had a premature labor scare. I'm only 30 weeks! Stay put, baby! ❤ Because I had my kid at 35+2 and I'm now 33 weeks I am on high alert for all labor signs. DNW to have that happen again if possible.

I had a dream last night that I had a premature labor scare. I'm only 30 weeks! Stay put, baby! Same, but it's also stemming from my having some kind of weird pains that I don't know if it's ligament stretching, or constipation pains, or Braxton Hicks - so spent last night googling things and scaring myself.

We finally got our taxes done and it’s less than last year but still decent so I’m relieved. Going car shopping this weekend!

It must be noisy! ☺️ Yep, exactly! The nurse can turn the volume down or up on each so that she can make sure she has both babes. They were REALLY moving and the heart monitors slid a bit so she had to come back in to adjust. I was like, sorry... they had a bit of a party just now. 😂😂😂

We have to hold it against him sometimes which he realllly doesn’t like. Where are your boys situated these days? Are they pretty well staying in preferred spots?

Tlex, Baby A is breech/butt down on my right. Baby B is also breech, but more transverse, on my left. I can usually tell them apart now. I absolutely love the nurses that do my NSTs, and another that did a quick ultrasound today to check fluid. They are so funny/sweet. Must be a baby nurse thing!

That’s so cool that you can feel them moving separately! 99% of baby nurses are the best humans. Fact.

Also to update my out of network billing saga, I called the MFM office billing dept today, and the lady was like, "Wow, your account is a mess! Let me see if I can figure this out for you...."
She was really sweet because I almost cried when explaining how I'd already hit our OOP in network 2018 max, they initially said they were in network, now I've got this huge bill, etc. She was like, dude, I'd be wayyy more pissed than you, you are handling this well.
She's going to look into it, so I hope it can all get resolved efficiently. My insurance made it sound like if they fixed a thing and resubmitted it'd be fine. Fingers crossed.

My NST appointment at 3:30 today turned into being sent to L&D to try the NST again, which led to one of the babies not showing good reactivity. That led to a biophysical profile. Fun times. They let me leave at 9, got home finally at 9:20. Babies are good, the one was just not cooperative in OB office (every time we found him and tried to place his monitor he move away as quickly as he could). Troublemaker.
