I'm sorry about the dog nmom. Has anyone else been told to re-up their TDAP vaccine? I got a booster when pregnant with DD in 2014. I asked the nurse, assuming I'd be good since they are usually for 10 years. She said it would be good to get it again this pregnancy. I'm very pro-vaccine and will take their advice, just wondering if others have been told the same. ETA I just looked on the CDC website and they recommend it each pregnancy to get the best protection to babies in utero. Yeah you're supposed to get it with each pregnancy, but your spouse/family only need it every 10 years or whatever.

nmom, no judgement at all. If you really wanted to invest time and money into making her see you and the kids as alphas too, you could look into a behavioral therapist. Or just keep separate until you feel more comfortable or have backup. Eames, I think they gave me that one already. H hasn't gotten it, so I want him to get it.

Weβre going to look into classes vs a trainer. MH wanted to sign up to do classes with her I told him it would make more sense for me to do them with her but also I need help breaking a few habits at home Maybe weβll end up doing both π€·ββοΈ

Thanks everyone. I made an appt at walgreens to get the tdap tomorrow, and making my H meet me so he gets his flu shot. He's so so late with it this year because he missed it at his work. :/

Eames Iβm getting my TDAP tomorrow at my OBβs office. I also understood it to be every pregnancy because it gives the babies some antibodies. H was thrilled to find out he didnβt have to get it again. I have to travel for work this week and just looked at the weather. Snow. I donβt own anything appropriate for snowy weather, so Iβm going to just have wet feet and be freezing in my coat that doesnβt zip up over my belly. Fun!

I had my TDAP a bit early, around 27 weeks, because I tend to have early babies. I think around 30 weeks is considered optimal for most people?

I donβt remember. The nurse was just like βcan we give you the tdap?β And I was like βsure!β And we went on with our day. Haha

Guys. I have a cold. Itβs kicking my ass. I have been such a troll today too. My poor family. We also woke up to no power. Thatβs been restored BUT cable and internet is out until probably 9. π¬π¬
Luckily we can hotspot the iPads as needed for the kids but omg. I do not want this right now.
On a brighter note we ordered a new king size bed last week and we got it set up today. Iβm so ready to try it out. Our other bed was a queen and old. Like so old.

Like, LOVE love it. Trust. Buying a king saved my sanity. My queen was insanely comfortable, and sometimes I do nap on it in the guest room, but our king was worth every single solitary penny.

I went to Walgreens today and got the tdap at 33w1d. I wish my OB had brought it up earlier in case the twins come earlier, but I'm glad it's done now!

Tall for a girl but not extraordinary.

Those who are taking something for heartburn, what do you take? My OB gave me a list of okay'd meds but there are like 8 options and I just want the one that works the best π It was happening pretty randomly so I'd been trying to just tough it out but lately it's every night, and yesterday afternoon it popped up and made me throw up out of the blue π€’

My midwife also suggested I quit coffee and lay off drinking seltzer and juice. I moved to a much less bitter coffee and I have a single seltzer/ cup of juice a day now. I also gave up a lot of acidic foods for a while, but it didn't do anything to help my heartburn.
