Toddlers birthday: Aug 25
Size clothes: 18 months for everything but pants...still 12 months for those.
Size diaper: we just switched to size 4 a week ago.
Size shoes: 4 or 5 depending on the shoe
Favorite cup: tommee tippee straw cup. Havent found another cup that i love though i do like our replay with the soft spout.
Favorite books: he loves Veggies with Wedgies, little blue truck Halloween, and any lift the flap books
Favorite toys: likes his Thomas train set, his big 5 side cube, he enjoys being pushed on Bugly Wugly, he loves the tuperware containers and lids, and he plays with his crayons a lot ( but isnt fond of coloring)
How long does toddler nap? Around 2 hours or 2 hours 15 minutes. Usually from 2 to 4.
Nap time routine? We do turn out all but nightlights, change diaper, get into jammies, read a book, turn on sound machine, get in crib, kiss, play seahorse with music, lights off.
Bed time routine? Sinilar to above. If its bath night that is first. Lights off except dim lights, Then brush teeth, change diaper, put on jammies, read a book while drinking milk, sing a song some nights, sound machine on, in crib, kiss, seahorse plays music, lights off.
How often does toddler get a bath? Any favorite bath toys? Every other day due to eczema. He has a crab that squirts water. He likes Punkin Butt bath dough. He has a few mesh animals too.
2 things toddler loves: he loves to dance. Anytime he hears music he dances. He also loves books.
2 things toddler hates: he hates being told no. He does not like getting in the carseat
How are tantrums? What do you do when toddler tantrums? Not good though getting shorter. We usually tell him no. Once we say it 3 times we remove him feom what he was doing. Sometimes he throws himself but it doesnt last. Other times i pick him up, tell him i love him, but no.
Do you allow screen time? How much? Yes. He generally gets to watch a youtube video 3 or 4 times a day that is 5 minutes or less. You can all laugh but he also loves Family Feud and generally watches about 15 minutes of that before bed.
Will toddler sit in a stroller? Yes for a while. We can usually get 2 laps around the mall in the stroller then he walks 1 or 2.
Are you going on vacation this year? Where? For how long? We are going to wooster ohio for 4 days ( work trip for me), Bedford Springs at some point for 3 days ( its only 40 minutes away), and possibly the ocean for a few days.
Anyone thinking of sqitching to a toddler bed? No way. He hasnt tried climbing out so Im keeping the crib.
Anyone thinking of potty training? No although he totally knows when he has to poop. He hides under the table, behind his crib, or behind the chair. I dont have any clue how or when to start him. He loves being in the bathroom with us and always flushes for us.
Toddlers favorote foods: pizza, chicken nuggets, meatballs, bananas, soft pretzels, cheese, sausage, pea crisps, yogurt melts.
Do you go to any structured activities with toddler? We did swimming lessons in the fall which was fun. We will start toddler time at the library this month once he turns 18 months.
Toddlers favorite restaurant or fast food place? Without a doubt chick fil a. He starts dancing when we.pull in. At the mall he will do multiple.laps around it and when it opens he walks right up to the counter.
Anyone else ready for spring?YES! We have been stuck inside at home for 3 days. We were to get 2 to 4 inches of snow today and there is at least 9 right now

Favorite toys: Is it her brothers? Then she loves it. They fight over the superheroes daily. 🤦🏻♀️ She just got really interested in the play kitchen though.
How long does toddler nap? 1 hr ish, sometimes longer if I just told her.
Nap time routine? Does not exist. Half the time she falls asleep in the car on the way to preschool pickup, or she’ll fall asleep eating lunch.
Bed time routine? Diaper change, get in pjs, nurse, brush teeth, read a couple books, in the crib. New as of this week!
How often does toddler get a bath? Any favorite bath toys? Usually 2-3x a week right now. We bathe less often bc of DS’ ezcema, so she just gets thrown in with him. Although this week she’s gotten a bath everyday bc she keeps washing her hair in the dogs dish...
2 things toddler loves: Climbing! Music/dancing.
2 things toddler hates: Me pulling her down from her climbing adventures, getting in the car seat.
How are tantrums? What do you do when toddler tantrums? She high pitch screams and tantrums many times a day. I mostly ignore the hysterics.
Do you allow screen time? How much? She gets to watch a nursery rhyme video on my phone while I change her diaper (so that she’ll lay still-ish).
Will toddler sit in a stroller? Sometimes.
Are you going on vacation this year? Where? For how long? No idea! We’ll probably go visit my ILs in NC if that counts as vacation.
Anyone thinking of switching to a toddler bed? It’s on my radar bc DS got switched at 18 months. He was climbing out of the crib. I’m surprised L hasn’t yet, but she’s a lot shorter than he was.
Anyone thinking of potty training? Heck no!
Toddlers favorite foods: potatoes in any form, cucumbers, strawberries.
Do you go to any structured activities with toddler? Not yet.
Toddlers favorite restaurant or fast food place? I let her go in the Chik-fil-a play area recently with DS and she loved that!

Toddlers birthday: 8/14 Size clothes: 18 months Size diaper: 6 Size shoes: 5, but she doesn’t wear them a lot Favorite cup: She has a soft top Nuk for water (her first sippy cup). And, a First Years for milk. She also has two back up First Years. We really have no allegiance to cups, but we don’t like straws - we still use a sippy cup for our almost 5 year old - we always have water available for her and sippy cups are handy. Favorite books: she likes to look at all the books. Favorite toys: All of them. I play some baby sign language videos on YouTube and ABC songs in the morning. She also watches music videos since she loves music - she yells out “Let It Go” any time you turn the tv on or she sees the YouTube app - but, she often wants “Who Let the Dogs Out.” She likes the Daniel Tiger theme song, but isn’t really into the show. H says he lets her watch that Ryan kid unboxing toys, but I’ve shown him that she likes the sign language, so I’m hoping he stops with kids playing toys. Will toddler sit in a stroller? I don’t remember the last time we used a stroller. When we went to the zoo last month we used the wagon, which she loved. Are you going on vacation this year? Where? For how long? Do you go to any structured activities with toddler? No. We did a zoo thing with T at 2.5, so might do that with R in the fall if I can convince H to take her. I don’t know if I can take these winters anymore. I thought I would die in this house. Now, I’m hoping my girls move to a warmer state, so we can move to be near them. This is like a 30 year plan. |

king26 is DS nice to his flip the flap books? DD Rios them all. They are all put away until I don’t know when. I just tried again. She loves ripping them. He was ripping all of them a few months ago so i put them away. I just briught them back out after chrostmas and he is kuch better with them. I lole the little blue truck halloween one because its pretty sturdy so we started with that one then went to others. I think all month he has only rioped off one flap so i call that a win. Also, i really miss the park on these cold days. |

Favorite cup: He’s so interested in regular cups, but spills.
Favorite books: All of them. He looooves books.
Favorite toys: Tool set, shopping cart. I need to get a play kitchen.
How long does toddler nap? Naps suck here. Never more than an hour and only on me or in the car.
Nap time routine? Nope
Bed time routine? Bath, pjs/sleepsack, nurse, book & song. Noise machine
How often does toddler get a bath? Usually every other day. He has a magnet fishing pole he likes. And things to pour in and out of.
2 things toddler loves: Music and books.
2 things toddler hates: To wait when he wants to go.
How are tantrums? Tantrums suck. He screams and lately lays down on the ground. I ignore at home and quietly talk him down in public. They suck.
Do you allow screen time? Yes. When I’m home alone he can watch when I need to get stuff done. 15 mins in the AM so I can get ready, and hour or more in the evening when I need to make dinner. Otherwise he will not leave me alone or will get into everything he knows he’s not supposed to. Some days it’s zero tho too.
Will toddler sit in a stroller? Yes. I have to walk our dog every day. So I think he’s used to it.
Are you going on vacation this year? We have lots of mini vacations. Going into the mountains next week, UT at the end of the month. New Mexico in June, MI in October, Hopefully a CA solo trip for me in May. And we have like 4 camping trips planned.
Anyone thinking of sqitching to a toddler bed? No way. Crib until he can climb out.
Anyone thinking of potty training? I’m considering buying a training toilet so he’s used to seeing it. I’d like to see how he is by summer and go from there.
Toddlers favorote foods: French fries. lol he really gets into something and then is over it by the 3rd time. So it’s a lot of new stuff and then reintroducing.
Do you go to any structured activities with toddler? Yes, music class. Thinking of swim soon.
Toddlers favorite restaurant or fast food place? He likes restaurants when we can keep him eating and distracted. We don’t really do fast food.
Anyone else ready for spring? Yes. Although our winter has been very mild, so we’ve had plenty of outside and park time.

Nap time routine? After lunch, sometimes a book, usually just rock for a minute or two in her dark room
Bed time routine? Brush teeth, read 2-3 books, sing a song, bedtime prayer, and into bed
How often does toddler get a bath? Any favorite bath toys? 1-2 times a week. Her eczema has been really bad. She loves to pour water from one cup to another

2 things toddler hates: being told no, her brother taking things from her
How are tantrums? What do you do when toddler tantrums? Increasing. Depending on the cause, I ignore, redirect, or remove her from the situation
Do you allow screen time? How much? Yes. Usually about 30 min in th6r morning so I can shower. More lately because polar vortex
Will toddler sit in a stroller? Haven't tried lately. She doesn't love carts anymore
Are you going on vacation this year? Where? For how long? Yes we are camping in June for 5 days. We also have a night at a waterpark in 2 weeks

How are tantrums? What do you do when toddler tantrums? Oof. I tried to speak calmly and redirect. Or ignore. He’s so funny sometimes I laugh and I think it makes him madder. He throws his hands up in the air and on his head. Sometimes he runs to a corner and screams. Sometimes he throws himself backwards into the couch or ottoman. If you don’t react he’ll do it again and look at you. I just said. Oh ok drama bear.lol.
Do you allow screen time? How much? I try not to. On vacation we did a lot. Now we do maybe 10min a day if that. Usually only for emergency meltdowns or desperate diaper changes or putting him into the car seat bc we HAVE to go NOW. we let him “watch” wheel of fortune with us but he loses interest quickly. He does clap whenever they clap on screen and waves bye to pat and vanna when they say bye at the end. It’s adorable.
Will toddler sit in a stroller? Yep. He usually loves it. He’ll walk and then be like ok I’m done.
Are you going on vacation this year? Where? For how long? To visit mil in a few weeks. Then we have a mini vacation time end of June but we haven’t made plans yet. Then maybe August. If August we’ll probably go to FL to visit my parents.

Size diaper: Still 3's! We just got gifted a box of 4's so will start using them.
Size shoes: 5
Favorite cup: No real favorites. I don't put milk in the flexi straw style cups because ew trying to clean that out so I've been using the take and toss. The straws are harder plastic material so easier to clean. She uses a Zoli cup for water.
Favorite books: Flap books. She likes those Karen Katz ones. Goodnight Moon
Favorite toys: Baby dolls, Leapfrog ice cream cart, throwing alllll the toys in the play tent with Sis and making a mess.
How long does toddler nap? 1-2 hours
Nap time routine? Not much, sound machine, baby doll with her and blanket on.
Bed time routine? Bath, pj's, book sometimes, sleepsack, nurse, sound machine, baby doll, stuffed kitty and blanket.
How often does toddler get a bath? Any favorite bath toys? 3 times a week. Not many favorite bath toys, I think she has more fun grabbing things and adding them to the tub as it fills.
2 things toddler loves: These mini Popsicles, climbing and getting into mischief with Sis
2 things toddler hates: Being put down when she wants to be held, being told No and closing a door and not allowing her in the room. Girl is STUBBORN
How are tantrums? What do you do when toddler tantrums? Try to ignore but that gets her more pissed. MH has been telling her about timeouts and she doesn't seem to like it so it does stop the behavior sometimes.
Do you allow screen time? How much? Eh a little. She sees D1 so she watches for a few with her. She is obsessed with Little baby bum nursery rhymes on Netflix so watches that more lately. (At least they are cute?!)
Will toddler sit in a stroller? We haven't tried lately but I hope so when the nice weather is back and we can go for walks.
Are you going on vacation this year? Where? For how long? Nothing much planned. I'm sure we will do weekends again down the beach in RI.
Anyone thinking of switching to a toddler bed? Hell no. D1 was 3.5 and it was amazing! I doubt this one will last that long but another reason why I'm sticking with the sleepsacks so she won't climb out.

Toddlers favorite foods: Broccoli, cheese, scrambled eggs, green beans, animal crackers, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Do you go to any structured activities with toddler? Not really. She is so wild ATM I really cant' picture this without cringing, lol
Toddlers favorite restaurant or fast food place? We have not being going out to restaurants in this phase right now. She is way too active so we will wait awhile. She had Chik fil A a couple of weeks ago for the first time and liked it.
