Age: 4
Milestones: Nothing new.
Challenges: He suddenly is anti-bedtime and anti-sleeping in his bed all night.
Stories: We took my almost 20 year old cat who has a nasal tumor to vet and vet and I were using big terms so he couldn’t follow. As we were about to leave he asked the vet,”Will Lily make it to her birthday? Because I want to buy her two toys with this money.” (He showed vet he had 4 quarters in his pocket) 😭
QOTW: He is my husband’s mini in so many ways. Loves to work with his hands and take things apart just to see how the work. He also can’t stand to have his hands dirty when he eats.

Age: 1.99 (he'll be 2 next weekend)
Milestones: He tells us each time he goes to the bathroom. We're thinking of getting the training potty out so he can get comfortable with it. I'm not pushing PTing at all - we're taking his ques.
Challenges: Well, he's basically 2 so... yeah... use your imagination.
Funny/Cute Stories: He's starting to really assert his likes and dislikes. At dinner this week he said, "Momma, I do not like eggies." Period. When it came up later that he didn't like eggs he said, "I dinent say dat!" and was all upset. Make up your mind, kid!
QOTW: He has MH's eyes. They're a different color, but the shape and brightness are MH's all the way.

Age: almost 4
Milestones: he’s finally night trained... how it really works is no beverages after dinner so we are going with it
Challenges: handling his wide range of emotions with patience
Funny/cute stories:
How are you?
Anything else?
QOTW: Flipping the questions from last week; what does your little one do that reminds you of your partner? He definitely doesn’t get his athleticism from me

Age: 17mo
Milestones: oh gosh. Idk. He is really good st feeding himself most of the time.
Challenges: tantrums have started.
Funny/cute stories: he loves to copy Daddy- if dh is standing with one leg crossed, N will imitate it. Also, he loves to pull DHs sweatpants down and pull his leg hair. I crack up every time bc dh has a pair of old super baggy swpants he wears around the house and N runs to him and yanks them down 😂
How are you? Ok. Lately I’m tired of being the default parent. And I’ve been really short tempered with dh as a result. So we’re not in a great place. It’ll pass, but ugh.
Anything else? Lossbabys edd is coming up. I’m feeling a type of way. I started wearing the necklace I got myself for it about two weeks ago and the chain fucking broke at work the other day. I need to make some time to go get a new chain. Sometimes I feel guilty that I feel so removed from lossbaby but then other days it hits me hard that I should be having a two year old this month and I feel like I can’t bresthe. And then I feel guilt bc then N wouldn’t exist.
QOTW: Flipping the questions from last week; what does your little one do that reminds you of your partner? Hah. A lot. One funny thing is if you ask him for a kiss he just leans in and gives you his forehead. Dh does that whenever I want a kiss and it drives me insane when dh does it. But it’s adorable when N does it.

addymac - HUGE hugs on the EDD. EDDs are so tough. Be gentle on yourself. {{hugs}} And default parenting sucks big time. Is it possible to get some 'you' time this week? LOL and we call the offering of the forehead the Royal Forehead LOL
