Week/Fruit/EDD: 4w4d, poppy seed, 9/27
FTM, Etc: 4thTM
Appointments: I had one with a midwife yesterday (or, rather, a consultation) so my next one will be in 4-6 weeks. I'm still sticking with an ob/gyn for now, too, in case I need meds for m/s.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): We haven't decided yet...
Milestones: well, I have passed the point I was at last month when I had my CP!
Symptoms: I'm just tired. And my back tends to hurt when I'm standing for a little while but other than that, nothing.
ETA: got my bloodwork results back (from my second draw) and my vit. D levels are low. That could be why I'm so freaking tired.
Rants: nada
Raves: My lines are consistency getting darker and my HCG is doubling as it's supposed to. I feel much more optimistic about this pregnancy!

Week/Fruit/EDD: 4 weeks 6 days/Appleseed/September 25
FTM, Etc: FTM
Appointments: Had an appointment today, with bloodwork. Eagerly checking the site for results!
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Finding out
Milestones: Got to be violated by the dildo ultrasound cam, so that was an honor
Symptoms: cramping
Rants: I was told by the advice nurse when I was trying to make my 8 week appointment that the cramping would warrant an earlier visit. My OB almost seemed annoyed that I was there though. She did the ultrasound but kept insisting we likely wouldn’t see anything. I told her I was aware of that, but it was recommended by their nurses. She wanted me to get my numbers checked today and Thursday, to see if it’s growing adequately and to date me better. I don’t know if it’s hormones or what but the whole experience makes me cry when I think of it. If you didn’t think I should be there then send me home or don’t do the ultrasound, but don’t act like I muscled my way in there for no reason!
Raves: Blood draws are always much easier than I expect, which is nice. And I’m back home with my cats and chickens so I feel better after that appointment 🐈🐓

peggyhill da fuq to that OB! I’m side eyeing the nurse a bit on scheduling a t/v when she knew they wouldn’t be able to see something this early. The beta draws are easy. The maternity panel with 9 vials (mine was 19), not so much

peggyhill that's crazy that they had you do an u/s so early. It makes things even more nerve wracking, I would think, since it really doesn't confirm anything? I had one at 5 weeks and some days with my second and I left feeling so anxious. I vowed I would never agree to another early u/s like that again.

cmb , I get that they worry about ectopic pregnancy, but even the OB didn’t seem concerned by my symptoms. Holy hell that’s a lot of blood! When does that get taken?? randomosity it’s definitely upped my stress, because they didn’t see anything. And now I’m worried that they won’t post my beta levels online until they have the levels for Thursday too, which doesn’t help. It almost felt like the OB was thinking that it’s too early to worry, we don’t know if you’ll miscarry since you’re so early. But that could be my anxiety projecting. 😕 Btw, how funny that were only 2 days apart in our due date!

They won’t be able to see etopic yet either and basic cramps are normal par for the course in early pregnancy. Before 5-6 weeks, it’s basically impossible to get anything with the t/v. I’m still side eyeing that nurse. Maternity panels are often drawn at the 8-12w intake app. It varies by provider on how much, but typical FTM draw is around 9 vials. They check for blood type (even if you know), sensitivities, a ton of hormone levels, anemia, etc

So maybe mine won’t be so bad come the 8-12 week appt? Lol But yes, major side eye at all the nurses freaking me out and making me think they should look now 🙄

They do blood typing each time to look for rh and abo sensitivities (I would think the only time they don’t is AB for the type and rh+ for rh, but I don’t know for sure). Mine with DS1 was the 19 because I also had all the RPL blood work for clotting disorders at the same time (otherwise it would have been 9)

Maybe it was just on the off chance that they could see if you were further along than expected? It just sucks that it offers zero peace of mind. And that's awesome! It's fun to have someone with a close due date ☺️

I had more BW done yesterday and my numbers are in the high 600s so, they're doing what they're supposed to! Huge relief. It's still crazy that they want so much BW, though. They want me in one more time before the end of the week. I know I had a loss but it was so early that I didn't think they'd take it very seriously but it's nice that they are. cmb my MW can't do prescriptions but it's fine because my ob is way closer. I've started all of my pregnancies with an ob and then switched to a MW after m/s calms down (well, all besides my first) but it seems to be how it works out best!

Week/Fruit/EDD: Too early to tell, haha. Around 3w. EDD 10/5 based on LMP.
FTM, Etc: 2TM
Appointments: None yet. Going to wait a week to make sure this is the real deal then schedule the first appointment.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green (same as with our first)
Milestones: Got KU?
Symptoms: Bloated, headache, really want junk food (carbs & salt, chocolate), face is broken out, mild cramps
Rants: Getting KU that fast leaves me little time to plan an announcement to my H.
Raves: Just sitting here still amazed I'm KU. We were planning to start actively trying next cycle but DTD once unprotected (and a few times with condoms) and here we are.

@marahian-I ended up just like shoving the test at H....lol. I said something like “I didn’t have 3 years to prepare this time because I realized last night I might be pregnant....” 😂😂😂

My MWs were quite surprised I was back two weeks after my negative draw for the CP. Betas look good and I start progesterone supplements tonight, so we’ll see what the next month brings
