curmudgeon do you get amazon’s TP brand? Do you do it for convenience or is it a good price? We get our tp from Costco and I think it’s a good deal plus lasts us a while

Where is everyone getting toddler clothes these days? I am a creature of habit with old navy and target. Am I missing out on other places?

So I threw a load of laundry, worked with DS on his homework and addressing some of his valentines, marinated chicken so hubs can throw it on the grill for everyone’s dinner - I’m going to try some oatmeal and hoping it stays down. Oh and later I’ll be giving baby his bath. Short of not cleaning, it’s a typical day. All necessary stuff which needs to be done except if I don’t do them it won’t be done. There are 3 other healthy adults in this house! Sheeeessshhh!

Speaking of clothes, I desperately need new pjs bottoms. My old ones are from ON which surprisingly have lasted a long while. I’m now staring at a hole in my knees and the others are threadbare. Any suggestions? The prob I have is I’m short and pjs hardly ever come in petites.

LO is feeling better (stomach bug Thursday) but he's still not eating much. Normal? This is our first time dealing with a stomach bug in a little.

Spent the day cleaning the house and doing laundry since we have a busy-ish Monday and Tuesday and that’s usually when I do those things! Just putting the kids to bed after going swimming and then going to relax and watch some Netflix

duskymonkey I always forget about h&m! I haven’t looked at Zara ever for kidsa so maybe I should try there too. I think h&m stuff is super basic and pretty great. I actually love their clam diggers they had last year for DS. IMO Zara’s is more stylish and their basic line is reasonably priced. I also like that their T-shirt’s have button closures around the neck. Easier and faster to slip through a squirmy tot and DS head may be a tad big 😬 btw we’re Charmin peeps too 😆 ETA. I do buy kids clothes but they’re usually for my nephews which then gets handed back down to my boys 😆

LO is feeling better (stomach bug Thursday) but he's still not eating much. Normal? This is our first time dealing with a stomach bug in a little. He’s not puking is he? If the other, his tummy might still be bothering him so prob still doesn’t have an appetite as you know push liquids as much as you can. DS got the pukes when he was 8 months and couldn’t even keep water down, had to take him to UC and they gave him zofran. After his nausea subsided he couldn’t have enoUgh water and the next day he was super hungry and would eat my hand. It was about 6 hrs of symptoms when we took him after I got home from work. It was scary though. They dehydrate so easily when they’re little.

And......DS1 is now down for the count. Been throwing up for the past 2 hours. 😩

duskymonkey glad you are feeling better! curmudgeon we do target and Gap when they have sales, also Kohl’s (I like the jumping beans brand) and carters. Gap is probably my favorite and things wear well but man it’s not cheap. I am being lazy this morning. I can hear madness going on downstairs and am not eager to face it. Letting hubs deal with it for a while. 😬 My goal today is to prep a few meals for the week. Just some chicken and couscous and veggies.

LO is feeling better (stomach bug Thursday) but he's still not eating much. Normal? This is our first time dealing with a stomach bug in a little. When we all had the stomach bug here a week or so ago it took a long time for all our appetites to come back, like 4+ dayside DD2. I’d say totally normal and it will come back but could take a few days.

I need another day for the weekend here. Yesterday our school robotics club had an all day tournament which, while fun, was exhausting. H and I saw Aquaman yesterday night so today I need to cram all the normal weekend craziness into one day. And if like a nap because 😴 😴 😴 I’ve been staying up late working on our taxes and other boring adult stuff that just has to get done.

curmudgeon I love kolaches! There was a bakery in the city that only makes them on my way to work and I used to stop to get them whenever I have to go in early. They had savory and sweet ones. So yummy! also I wish we had magic elves which would come and clean and pick up the house when we sleep at night. We just leave food for them.🤣 only in fairytales.

It’s been over 24 hrs so I think I got a bout of food poisoning which is a relief Cos I dnw to clean up and deal with 5 others being sick in the house. I had a bowl of plain oatmeal this am and it’s stayed in. I’m mush less queasy and will make a small pot of porridge the rest of the day. Thankfully I think I’ll be back to normal by tomorrow just in time for hubs to leave for his work trip. ETA today s also CD1 😫

danvers yes, that's what we're seeing with DS2. Today is day 4 and he ate a little breakfast. Finally!! Glad to hear this can be normal. Thank you. duskymonkey I sure hope Feb is better for us. DH is doing as expected. He's back at work but shouldn't lift more than 10 lbs, so he still can't pick up DS2. He doesn't have another checkup until the end of February so his restrictions are in place at least until then. DS2 has become a total momma's boy.
