Can we do this again? I’m in a rut serving the same 5 dishes over and over. I need inspiration.

Tuesday - tacos or taco salads.
Wednesday - sausage egg roll in a bowl.
Thursday - rotisserie chicken Ceasar salads.
Friday - crockpot chili
Saturday and Sunday no idea.

It’s chicken sausage but it has pesto, feta, and spinach in it! We used to get that exact sausage practically weekly when we had a wegmans in PA. So good! I’m wondering if I can make some sort of chicken dish with all those ingredients now. I’ve never made pesto though.

Our fridge is an effing FWP disaster right now. We have WAY too much random crap stacked precariously in there. It’s always like this when MH is around unfortunately. We have a bunch of leftover junk food from football Sunday (1/2 chicken parm sub, 1/2 cheesesteak sub, pizza, chicken broccoli alfredo) that I figured we’d eat today and tomorrow. I also put ribs in the slow cooker this morning. And I have some rotisserie chicken that needs using so I planned to make a casserole tomorrow. But then my MIL dropped off osso bucco this morning and my friend just texted that she’s coming over at 5:45 with dinner (I don’t even know what!) 😱 So loosely, here is the plan for the week to try to address this ridiculousness: Sunday: football food Monday: kids lunch—pizza, my lunch—osso bucco, dinner—ribs or friend’s meal Tuesday: lunch—football leftovers; dinner—DH or I will finish the osso bucco, everyone else will have leftover ribs or friend’s meal Wednesday: lunch—leftover ribs (maybe in quesadillas) or friend’s meal; dinner—Chicken Broccoli Mac and Cheese (casserole): www.familyfoodonthetable.com/healthy-chicken-broccoli-mac-cheese/Thursday: any remaining non-casserole leftovers Friday: I’m meeting a friend for lunch so assume DH will get the kids fast food for lunch; dinner—casserole

I’m going to attempt it.

I don't know what we're doing the rest of the week but tonight we're having slow cooker short ribs over mashed cauliflower, though it'd be just as delicious over mashed potatoes or regular rice if you aren't low carb.

We had dinner at mom's today. Thry BBQd and did a bunch of sausages to have as apps. The boys went HAM on them. And since no one else was able to go (other sisters) there was a pile left over so mom told me to take them (the boys legit cheered). So long story short. What are some different things I can do with them? There's enough for at least 2 lunches (for all of us). It's something I never buy.

I love them just plain with some sautéed peppers and onions over cauliflower rice or regular rice. Or you can cut it up and make an sausage, egg, cheese + any veggies you have on hand omelette. Or slice it up and throw it into some pasta with steamed broccoli with a red sauce or butter and Parmesan cheese? Or here’s a recipe I have pinned that could work? gluesticksgumdrops.com/low-carb-sausage-spinach-casserole/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=pinterest&utm_campaign=tailwind_tribes&utm_content=tribes

I imagine it’s ever better when both eat well at the same time.

They both will eat every bite. I try to limit it to once a week though, partially because it’s not the healthiest but mostly because I’m scared for it to lose its magic.

I can’t wait to make this bruschetta chicken with fresh garden grown tomatoes. I couldn’t figure out what flavor I was missing...it’s the grocery store winter time tomatoes. The flavor just isn’t the same.
