Morning Ladies! I started off the day with an argument with my mom. Yesterday, I was updating her on the situation with my teenager and she used the opportunity to tell me I just need to think positively and not to imagine negative things for him, because then I will manifest them. Oh. I did not exactly lose my shit, but she certainly got a piece if my mind. It continued this morning when I told her that was insensitive and unsupportive. I checked out of the convo after some "the moon is in Leo" shit. Not today with the woo, Lady.

So, I aggressively cleaned the house and plan to go swim it out this afternoon. Cannot start a snowed in weekend with a lit fuse 😤

C fell asleep on my bed with her head in my lap; she hasn't napped all week, plus she has a cold, so i think she needs it. I'm effectively trapped but enjoying mindless internet browsing and watching Fixer Upper reruns.

Swim lessons. Why is my kid all of a sudden acting like this is the first she's ever heard of swimming? I told her to cut the shit (in age appropriate words) and focus. So she's doing better, but the lesson is essentially over now and they accomplished nothing.

Currently folding C’s laundry while N plays on his iPod and C babbles away on his playmat.
DH is staying at his brothers this weekend since they’re playing in a snow pitch tournament together today and tomorrow. I don’t know why but I hate when he’s away... like I get upset and don’t want to talk to him at all when he’s gone.
Snow started this morning so I’ll be in with the boys all weekend. Maybe we will do a movie and popcorn in my bed tonight.

J didn’t sleep well and was up on and off from 4am, but then we had to be out of the house at 7:45am to go to B’s soccer. We all went cause my cousin came, then we went for breakfast after. Kids, specifically 2 years olds, in restaurants suck, I hate it.

J is napping now and I think I’m close behind cause we’ve got nothing else planned for the day. We need some chill time, we’ve been on the go all week.

We are supposed to get snow, wind and ice tonight into tomorrow night but we planned to go to my in laws on the Cape tonight so we chanced it and went anyway. I think driving tomorrow morning will be fine. Our area is only 1-3 inches and the temp doesn’t drop until the afternoon so the roads shouldn’t be too icy with the rain. We are now at an indoor pool and will go to my in laws after.

Now they are totally changing the forecast and what was a foot of snow is now saying .3 inches so who knows. They have also moved the start time from 5 pm to 3 pm tomorrow for DD so maybe we will be going. I guess if we go, I will just pack an overnight bag in case we can’t get home.

Hi hi - got to a Barre3 class this morning and then got to Ikea. They have duvets on sale and dressers, both of which j needed. And they have a $25 coupon online, so I was proud of my savings. We got a tall hemnes for a $90 off regular price, so even though it's a clearly Ikea dresser, it matches the bed and will work just fine. And now I'm doing some school work and grouchy how much work this class is.

Last night I drove to OR and it was hell. Took me almost double what it should have because of torrential rain and shitty traffic.

My mom and I are going to see Brian McKnight tonight and my brother is watching the girls.

This age our girls are in now is the absolute worst for restaurants, I'm convinced. I remember feeling the same with B at this age.

B is now a delight to take out and has been for the last year or two, we just have to get C over the hump. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

vino I hate restaurants w B right now. He doesn’t listen. At all. And can’t sit still. S was not this bad at this age. But I think for us part of it is S was much more verbal so it was easier to express himself. Like flamingo said, I just keep reminding myself this will pass

That being said we are supposed to fly out tomorrow (finger’s crosses kim22 new forecast is correct and we get out! I am not looking forward to being trapped in a airport and then trapped on a plane w B!! Then all the restaurants on vacation... yikes!!

Hi!!! Went to the mall to go see what Gymboree was doing for closing sales. Regular stuff not so great on sale but clearance was awesome 50% off lowest ticketed price. I got E 3 dresses for $15. I got LO 2 shirts for $15. Also ended up buying LO a swimsuit since we start swim lessons again soon.

I dropped N off at party #2, went to the liquor store, and have a half hour to kill so I’m at the coffee shop with a hot chocolate and a cookie.

H was fighting his nap today and took off all of his cloths and eventually fell asleep completely naked. Haha... kid is crazy! Dh is going to take him to get ice cream since he’s mad he couldn’t go to the parties

It's finally snowing lightly. It looks like our big storm is going to be primarily sleet and rain, which will be super fun once it freezes over... We did our grocery shopping today so we don't have to leave the house tomorrow if it's bad. Just need to figure out how to keep the kids acting mildly sane!

Thanks for the well wishes. I crushed up a half of a Zofran and put it in a little juice for him and it seems he has turned a corner. We’ll see how he is once it wears off in a couple hours.

MH is home so at least I have help now. M2 got a hold of M’s cup at dinner, so I’m praying by some miracle he isn’t next. 😒

Hardly sat down all day. Went on a walk this morning, saw Dude’s little buddy and his mom at the gym, then did the trail with he kids after dinner.

Tomorrow morning we’re meeting chrisy01 at a trampoline place for a Frozen party. I think the kids will love it.

I should study but my eyes don’t want to stay open so I’ll push it off until nap time tomorrow. Miss P is down to one long nap and it’s glorious. Now we get the double nap consistently and it’s life-changing.
