Hey. H doesn’t have school today, but her ENT appt is at 1. DH took a personal day from work so I won’t have to bring S with. Both girls have low fevers but aren’t complaining about anything so I’m just keeping an eye on it. My throat feels so much better after 2 doses of antibiotics, thank goodness. It’s super cold here too. It’s supposed to snow later tonight, a few inches.

I just looked at the weather. High of 16 today with a real feel of 0. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 47.. I think I'll go to the grocery tomorrow lol.

tgrimes my dad said "bullshit! No way anyone can do this for 10 minutes!" Haha! I did it at tgrimes advice when I thought my ankle was sprained (nope, just psoriatic arthritis) and it was literally torture. I would make my husband put my foot in b/c I literally couldn't do it myself. I don't know how pro athletes...or, you know, ballerinas...do that so constantly. I cannot imagine submerging your whole body in the cold tub the way football players do. |

Morning!
MH is home with the boys while I’m at work. He leaves to head back once I get home. It’s been a good day so far.
I was freezing at 30 degrees this morning. Single digit temps do not sound delightful.

C was up at 5:30 but entertained himself until I got up at 9:30. I felt guilty he was alone so long but he was fine. We defrosted the car then went to the trampoline park. I just gave him Benadryl because his skin flared badly after the indoor pool the other day and he is so itchy. I’m hoping it makes him take a nap but sometimes it doesn’t even make him tired.
Laundry and dishes are done. House is picked up. Lunches are packed. Not much to do today.

Hi. I went to work this morning but then text my boss to see if he minded if I took the afternoon off. Federal holidays= no calls or emails at work so he didn’t mind.
So now I’m home trying to warm up. Placed my online grocery order and hoping Dh will pick it up for me after work so i don’t have to leave the house again.
I plan on doing laundry, cleaning out cupboards and working out. Unless i get sidetracked the puzzle 😂

We took the boys ice skating and it was pretty fun! It was Chase's first time on skates so he basically rode a bar around with me behind him, holding his coat by the armpits. He got around 5 times though, albeit with plenty of breaks. Colin had a blast and hasn't lost anything in the 10 months or so since his last lesson. We went out for lunch and now we're heading home. Chase is already passed out and Colin looks like he may follow shortly, so we'll probably run an errand or 2 while they sleep.

10 minutes into the movie Cadence said she was ready to go home. Uh....no. She stuck it out and now she's eating McDonald's. Which, she proceeded to choke on and had to spit out into her Happy meal box. She's fine, she just likes to put ALL the food in her mouth at once. 🙄

Just because he can drive fine, pass the written test and pass the driving test doesn’t mean he should be driving. But if you ask my mother she thinks it does. What if he has another episode in the car and causes an accident? Or kills someone? |

Back home from the ENT. H is scheduled to get her tonsils and adenoids out 2/19. I probably could have scheduled sooner but MIL is going to be out of town for a few weeks and she will be back then.
