Today has just been a cluster. And I'm super grouchy. My mom wasn't ready when we got there so everything got rearranged. There was a 1.5 hour wait for haircuts, so we ran to look at shoes without success, then got takeout mod pizza and my mom asked what j wanted and then got him what she wanted, and he refused to eat it. Thankfully the haircuts look great. Then I raced home for a zoom meeting and I couldn't get into it.. my at least cleaned up while we were out.

slenle I'm jealous of your puzzling. If I got out a puzzle Cadence would be all over it. The cats too. I miss doing puzzles.

Just finished grocery shopping and meal prep.
Vent ahead FWP.
The next door neighbors wife is not very nice. The husband is super friendly. She just made a comment about the recycling I just put in the bin. I get it Friday was pickup but C didn’t take it out and I’m cleaning and organizing my house. I’m off on weekends so obviously that’s when I’m cleaning and getting rid of things and put things in the bin. At least I’m recycling.

I made it to the gym. I tried a different Y to scope it out for the mornings I will have to go. I saw Ms best friend’s parents there. I hope they go every Sunday because M will love going if he will get to play with his friend.
I’m now home cooking meals for the rest of the week. So much food.

Nothing like making dinner only to be met with tears. Dude, just TRY it, it's not going to kill you! So for dinner Cadence ate baked beans, 2 Hawaiian rolls and pickles. She said she tasted the brisket, but I didn't see her. At least she ate something.

My mom loves doing puzzles and we've always teased her about it. B got several for Christmas and helping him do them has kind of sucked me in...now I want to do a big one. Sorry, Mom, you were right!
DH went up and got take-out burgers for us and now we're settling in for a night of...tv I guess? I feel like there was some special or something coming on tonight I wanted to watch.

Tell her in the future you'll just put your recycling on her porch and she can put it in at the "appropriate" times. |

Hi from Florida! We made it ok and checked into the hotel just before dinner time. Met my brother and sister in law at hibachi - it was the kids first time and they loved it. But B was exhausted from no nap. We got a suite so the boys have their own room, however B goes down about 20-30 minutes before S and every time I leave he starts screaming. So I’m sitting on the floor waiting for him to fall asleep.
At least I get to catch up here!

It wasn't supposed to snow here today but we got about 2in. It was cold today so I didn't send E out but when mh went to shovel he had to go.at heart MH gave him $2 for helping.
We've done nothing today but watch football. Played in the basement a little and I went through some hand me downs and found some cute sweaters and pjs.

I love when my mom tries to give the kids something without asking me (like a full bowl of cereal at 9:30pm) and when I say no, she gets pissy with me!

We made it back and forth to the meet with no problems. DD did amazing, 4 medals and a trophy and her best all around score of the season. DS won his game too so everyone went to bed happy. The kids are all sleeping and DH is at my sister’s watching football. I’m enjoying the silence, snuggling my puppy.

My grandparents use to have a puzzle out on the breakfast nook and as people walked by (which was all the time) they would put a piece or two together. I haven’t helped or did a puzzle since my grandpa passed.

My sister emailed me earlier today to tell me about her weekend and ask why we asked her not to come over... SMDH. I wrote back an email that left me shaking like a leaf - I've always been the peace keeper in my family so admitting to my own hurt and anger was really hard! Fortunately DH was with me and that helped. I told her this wasn't a matter of clearing things up, we simply can't trust her or her judgment. My kids come before her feelings. I told her I needed time and space.
She wrote back almost immediately "No problem!" I actually laughed, like WTF? I just called you on all your BS and she's still acting like it'll blow over. I don't even know...

I've always loved jigsaw puzzles. I didn't do any for a long time because of cats and kids (my cat is the worst and loves to attack puzzles). I want to get back into it now since we have plenty of space in our family room and I can shut the door to keep Denny out.

Morning!
Both kids were up early-ish so we’re hanging out while DH sleeps in. C is coloring, which mostly means commanding me and B to ‘draw CatBoy!’ or Minnie or whoever...or else.
I’m taking B to see the movie about the dog today...name is escaping me...Away from Home? I think he’ll enjoy it and it will be good to spend some time with him solo. C did well seeing The Grinch but I don’t think a movie like this would hold her interest so it works out.

Morning! MH is at work and it's cooooold here (-5). MIL is terrified of kids, especially babies, being out in the cold so she asked if she could stay with A if I had errands. May take her up on that and take the big kids to grocery shop and a play place.

Morning. All home here today..I have my first doctors appt at the same time as a sky zone bday party. So mh is taking both, which should suck since N can't jump. You'd think he was doing some huge parenting feat taking both though🙄.
We watched the fyre fest documentary last night, that was like watching a train wreck in action, it was pretty interesting.

His heart has been fine. He hasnt had his echo yet though. So we'll see once that's done. |

I know it’s not delightful but with all of my injuries, just icing them did nothing. It wasn’t until I did the bucket of ice water that the swelling decreased, which helps the pain tremendously. |
